Just had winters put on. This place is the Rolls Royce of honest friendly service. They took right to it with minimum wait time. They even repaired one of my lug nuts at no charge. No pushiness to have extra work done. Hassle free and quick. The three gentleman up front were really good hearted guys (Preston was one of them). They didn't over charge. There was no covert hostility. And they offer wheel nuts to be re-torqued within 50 kilometres for free. Very competitive and reasonable pricing. Most mechanic shops make you cringe but this is the best service I have ever received. They don't mess

From the start of my relationship with this company, they serviced us with a "customer first" mentality". Despite some hiccups and issues along the way, Preston and his crew were exceptional and ensured that I did not leave their shop until I was 100% satisfied. It is true that family run local businesses know how to treat their customers right!!!

So glad I called this shop. The first thing that struck me was that these were experienced men, who were genuinely there to provide a helpful service. I called for a battery, but I realized that it would just be easier to get them to winterize the whole vehicle. I got a new battery installed, four winter tires, and an oil-pan heater installed for cheaper than I would get it anywhere else. The battery was in a very awkward place underneath the driver seat. While they may not be able to fix every problem you present them, they will do their best to give you guidance on how best to proceed with finding a solution. They can do some basic fixes, but for more complex troubleshooting they have shrugged their shoulders and politely told me to try another shop. I trust these guys to do the basic stuff well, and for a reasonable price.

Came in for an alignment this morning on my truck. I wanted to support local and I’m very glad I did. The gentleman at the front desk were helpful and friendly. I was very satisfied with my customer service and the service overall on my vehicle. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to other places. Overall my experience here was awesome, and I will be back in the future.

Looking for a tire shop close to home and I was glad I found A-1. The customer service here is above and beyond what you would find at the dealership. I had winter tires mounted and installed and it was the quickest turn around I could find in the city. The shop may seem unassuming but you will not be disappointed with the care and quality they provide. You can tell immediately that they care about their customers and they have gained my business for the years to come.

Been a customer since the 80’s. Always courteous. Dealt with Reg and Murray now Mark and Lance and other staff. Unlike some businesses who will take advantage of women, they have never done that. Honest and upfront, answer all questions with respect and courtesy. Highly recommend this company. Especially if you are a single female or know little or nothing about vehicles, tires and batteries.
