These guys take their sweet time responding to anything. Terrible overall experience, not to mention you can find better pricing elsewhere. Happy to have moved to a different company and the difference in customer service is unreal. You don't know how bad it is until you're with a good company. Would never recommend Brant Mutual Insurance.

Well where to begin. I have had three policies with Brant Mutual for over twenty years. I just experienced my first claim, and now they are cancelling my policy. As this company is board driven, I have a right to attend a meeting, and they will not even call me back on the time or the place. As the previous person noted, the ombusperson at Brant Mutual did not even know whom their governing agent was. When I called her on it, she said she made a mistake. I have been in business for thirty five years and now they have put a reg flag on my business being high risk.

Can't post without a star rating and I wouldn't even give them a one if I didn't have to.
So I've been having issues with the Agent and I've decided to shop around. I found a better rate and a more reputable known company. I was with Brant Mutual for several years and have always had issues with the competency of the Agent. After reading the reviews here on Google, thank goodness I have never had to make a claim.
LOL, I had to call my agent to ask where my renewal was for the upcoming year. Had I not called her, I don't know when I would have received it. It came in the mail on the Monday after

Criminals, I don't believe they are real insurance providers... Had a flood in my basement, fought tooth and nail for them to pay claim, they never did, when I said I was going to ombudsman they cancelled my policy and pretend they don't even know me, now I'm going through the small claims court to sue them. Beware!

So unprofessional and left me with a very uneasy feeling when I realized I gave them all of my personal information. The review with 5 stars from "Tina"... Yeah, she works there and review is NOT valid. It should be taken down so this business will be a 1 star, 0 if it was an option.

Not good company to deal with. Not enough experience in the office and lack people skills. Expect to get a headache if anything is "suddenly changed" by their underwriters who deem things inspected to be void because they dont like something and expect you to cover the inspection costs for their request anytime they choose to. Expensive compared to their competitors. Go find another company - you can thank me later.
