Services
Mark is a Chartered Accountant who loves to help clients (individuals and corporations) save tax. He creates enduring relations by always considering the big picture when it comes to compliance and planning. Jeff provides corporate and personal tax compliance services and is involved in corporate re-organizations and planning strategies.
We can ensure that your taxes comply with reporting requirements. Compliance is very important in order to take advantage of government provided programs and to avoid unnecessary interest or penalties imposed by Canada Revenue Agency. We can do your taxes in time for the deadline so that you get your tax return on time!
Corporations must file many different tax returns throughout the year including returns to report income, employee and contractor forms, GST, payroll remittances, and more. Each return has its own prescribed format, deadline, and penalties for non-compliance. Further, if appropriate payments are not made on time, interest also applies.
Each year we require you to complete the Personal Tax Checklist (PTC) to ensure we have all of your information & to prompt you to provide us with every available tax credit and deduction so that we can ensure you save tax! Once you've completed the PTC, we ask that you send us your documents (digitally or in person) within 24 hours so that we can start preparing your tax return and saving you money!
As soon as your fiscal year end has passed, it is time for you to start thinking about getting your corporate taxes (T2) completed. We will send you an email four weeks after your year-end to remind you. Your bookkeeping should be completed no later than five or six weeks after your year-end so that we can get started on your financial statements, GST, and corporate tax return.

Where would i start with Mark and his team! I'm an incorporated professional and for the first time in 9 years i got a tax refund from the government. With previous accountants i always owed a lot to the government and the burden was stressful. Mark came around with a solid tax plan that put me in an excellent place. I had my first experience with Hill&Co this year and it was super great. As a self-employed freelance musician I was looking for someone who had experience dealing with this type of career blueprint, and a colleague recommended Hill&Co to me. They were so helpful, did a great job, and always had time to answer my questions. Also, when the CRA made an error on my return, Mark Hill acted on it very quickly and clearly - it's GREAT to know someone has my back and knows what to do when these things come up! Hill & Company has made my life so much easier. Navigation of and keeping up to date on Canadian tax law is difficult enough for those in the industry let alone for the CRA. The H&C team not only has taken a huge burden off of me but they have gone above and beyond. Honesty, Professionalism, and Care is how they deal with there clients.

In a nutshell - very professional … prompt, courteous and fairly priced.
I just had my current 2015 tax return completed along with multiple previous years (re-assessments).

I have recently switched my personal taxes to Jeff Wong of Hill & Company Chartered Accountants about a month before this year’s tax deadline. Jeff was accommodating despite the somewhat last minute request, and got them done in about a week.
In addition to being speedy, Jeff asked good questions and was able to help me despite my missing a few pieces. My taxes were a relatively small job for Jeff and his company, but he got them done efficiently and well.

It is easy to say nice things about Hill and Company Chartered Accountants LLP.
