Yan Chen is the director and founder of Qi Alternative Acupuncture Clinic, and a registered TCM practitioner (R.TCMP), and Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in Ontario. Yan Chen is well trained in Western and Chinese Traditional Medicines in China and Japan.
In 1984, he obtained his M.D. and worked as an Oncology and Orthopedics surgeon in China, not only by performing surgeries and Western medicine treatments but also providing integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for post-operation treatments.Yan Chen also has his Ph. D. degree from Medical School of Tohoku University in Japan, performing clinical researches on Japanese National Early Lung Cancer diagnosis project.

Assessment will have your holistic Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment plan individually. Qi Alternative Acupuncture Clinic ONLY offers alternative and complementary treatments for some health conditions.
Qi Alternative Acupuncture Clinic is located in the centre of Limestone city, Kingston, and surrounded by numbers of family physician offices, medical laboratories, medical after-hour walking in facilities, and drug stores. The building is wheelchair accessible (use the entrance of 837 Princess St.).

I highly recommend Mr Chen. I saw him because I was having very severe back pain. I could barely move, twist, or drive without severe sharp pains in my back. When i saw him I just came back from a massage to try and help with the pain. Even though I felt good for a while, the pain came back and I was desperate for a solution. I had been reluctant to see an acupuncturist because in previous experiences its very difficult to find an effective acupuncturist. Yen is a lovely practitioner. Exceptionally intellegent and thoughtful. I felt very comfortable and respected in his office. I would highly recommend him. UPDATE: I have had remarkable success with Yen's acupuncture treatment for insomnia that I have had for many years. It has exceeded my expectations.
