Navona's track record spans over 45 years. In 1965, its predecessor began a fast growing real estate advisory business for substantial net worth private clients. In 1981, assets under management effectively doubled with the take-over of the real estate consultant Metropolitan Trust Company. In 1992, Dr. Bernd Abromeit-Kremser formed the Navona Group of companies to manage the interests of the private clients acquired through a management buy-out.
Prior to becoming President of Navona and up to 1992, Dr. Abromeit-Kremser served as Vice President of a private real estate investment group. In his capacity as private client advisor, Dr. Abromeit-Kremser successfully implemented a management-led buy-out of the private client business. Dr. Abromeit-Kremser holds a B.Com. degree from the University of Toronto and was awarded a Ph.
Canpar, a parcel delivery specialist, is a subsidiary of Transforce Inc., a leader in Canada's transportation and logistics industry. The property is used as an area distribution centre and customer service depot. Carpenter Technologies Inc. is a leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of cast/wrought and stainless steel alloys.
Navona seeks investment opportunities on behalf of its clients with the purpose of achieving immediate returns and long-term capital growth. Through extensive market knowledge and expertise in all the major centres in Canada, Navona has established a sourcing network for an active acquisitions program.
Through its property management operating division Navona Realty Services, Navona ensures that buildings are operated in a first-class fashion with proper preventative maintenance schedules, regular inspections and minimized operating costs and taxes.
