After years of box dying my hair black I decided to strip the colour my self to go back to my natural… After realizing what I had done to my hair I decided to go to Scizzorhands (recommended by a friend) my original colour correction consultation was with David, he was amazing, kind and professional due to scheduling I was unable to get in with him BUT was introduced to Sarah and I’m so happy I was!! I hate my haircut. I have thick hair and a lot of cuts butcher it with wayyyyy too many layers and that's just what happened :(
I will wait until I can get into my usual place from now on. (which is the same price, if not a little less, and they curl my hair and put products in it, my hair wasn't even conditioned when it was washed)

Absolute bare minimum went into my haircut. I went with pictures and the result was not even close. I commented that it didn't really look like what I had asked for and was told when I flat ironed it myself at home it would look good. I've never had a hairstylist not completely style my hair and still claim he had given me what I asked for. See attached photo of the hackjob the back of my hair was after it was straightened at home.

I can't even describe the amount of professionalism and care that went into my hair correction today. I came in with a pretty abysmal hair situation and Sarah somehow managed to do legit magic and turn my hair into something ABOVE AND BEYOND what I could have ever dreamed of. I have never felt this confident before that I look my best, and I owe it to this salon, and Sarah's top notch skills, patience, and general care to make me not only happy, but overjoyed with the end result. Worth every penny and will absolutely be going back for all my important hair needs in the future ♡

Terrible experience. I went in with my partner looking for 2 basic hair cuts. We booked appointments a week or so in advance for the same time. We live an hour and a half away and we had never been there before so we weren't familiar with the parking. We accidentally passed it and had to turn around to get back to park once we realized where it was. This resulted in us being about 6 minutes late. As soon as we got there we introduced ourselves and the girl hairdresser reprimanded us for being late and said she now didn't have time to cut my partner's hair. (He wanted a really basic trim.) David had taken my hair that was damaged and crispy looking highlights from a year and a half ago and transformed my hair by pure magical hands into a gorgeous dimensional colour with a flattering cut. He was extremely knowledgeable about colour matching and current trends, the staff were all so friendly and helpful! overall such a wonderful experience, no anxiety or pressure whatsoever, i always have so much anxiety around my hair and i felt completely at ease and felt i could trust anyone there to do whatever to my hair!!! cannot wait to go back and continue on my hair journey with David!

The most unprofessional salon I have ever been to. Called in the day before and booked two appointments for the same time (3:15 PM) the following day. We arrived five minutes early and where told immediately that one of our appointments was actually booked for 3:00 and that they could not perform the service. Even though this was a scheduling conflict on their end, I understood and decided to wait for my friend whose appointment was correctly booked for 3:15. Then, we were told that they did not have enough time to do the 3:15 appointment either as "45 minutes was not enough time." Scizzorhands

I've had the same stylist for years but just moved and couldn't bring her with me After multiple issues scheduling with other salons, I could't put a cut and color off any longer so I booked a last minute session with Sarah. I have very short curly hair with a lot of color, so I didn't have very high hopes that a new stylist could match my previous stylists work. I was extremely pleased to be proven wrong! Sarah matched the color flawlessly (no easy task!) and did a brilliant job cutting my crazy curls. I'm absolutely thrilled to have found someone I can trust. A bit pricey

I recently got my hair cut here after looking for a new place to get my hair cut and I must say it was money well spent. For guys, haircuts are only $19 and up although for ladies the prices are higher. Yes, you can find cheaper prices elsewhere but I often find that some of these places are often careless and will do a real hack-job. This place was small but tasteful and seemed very clean to me. And the lady who cut my hair did a very careful job of everything. I can see myself coming back for sure.

This was terrible! Very unprofessional! I went for a cut and a couple highlights and it was 90.00. They dyed my hair and the first time it didn't show up and they had to redo it. During that time because of my hair they were running late and cut people's hair while mine was on my head and then I had to wait. When it was done the colour looked terrible. For the cut someone was just there before me and there was tons of hair on the seat still. They told me to sit down and I showed them the hair (it was obvious and lots of it) they merely swiped there hand over it once and had me sit down

If you have definite ideas about how you want your hair to look, it's can be hard to find a place to get your hair cut. And not something you want to do by trial and error. The other reviews of Scizzorhands seemed positive and I got my hair cut there. I was impressed. They listened carefully to what I wanted, and did just what I wanted. My cut was only $20, but the stylist carefully worked on my hair for an hour to get it just right. She did an excellent job and I'll be a repeat customer. I am living in London for school and I really needed my hair done, so I decided to try this place since it's just down the street from where I live. The price list was reasonable, although slightly more than what I am used to paying for hair services. Jodi was the stylist who did my hair. I asked for a cut and colour. I went from bleach blonde hair to a violet-black base and purple highlights. The colour came out beautiful- it looked even better when it faded because the filler which gave it the black colour faded to the reddish base. When I was living in London, I went here for my haircuts exclusively (after getting ineptly shorn at one or two other places). It helped that I lived in walking distance of Scizzorhands, of course, but even if the trip were a little longer, I'd still recommend them.
