Watzin Veterinary Clinic
Watzin Veterinary Clinic is celebrating its 25th year serving the Waterdown community. The clinic was established in July of 1996 and is owned and operated by Dr. Sandra Watzin. Dr. Watzin graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 1990. After graduating she acquired a position at a multi-hospital organization in Mississauga.

Within two years she elevated her position in the organization to senior veterinarian in charge of all the veterinary and technical staff within the three hospital organization. While managing and directing the hospitals, she was quickly developing her medical and surgical skills. In the Spring of 1996, the community of Waterdown embraced Watzin Veterinary Clinic from opening day.
Services
We always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Waterdown. We are proud to offer pet health care needs such as vaccinations, laboratory diagnostics, digital imaging, surgical procedures, dental procedures, boarding, grooming and more! Please call us with any inquiries or to book an appointment at 905-690-0040.
Please take a moment to complete these questions in advance of your cat's annual examination appointment. It will help our doctors to understand your cats' diet, lifestyle, and environment. In understanding these areas, we can specifically tailor a health regime perfectly suited to her/him. Has your cat been involved and/or injured in any fights (cats, raccoons, etc) within the past 2 years?*
Watzin Veterinary Clinic proudly supports the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA and continues to help pets in need. We are now a drop-off location for donations to the HBSPCA. Kindly drop off new or gently used pet supply items at the clinic so we may take it to the shelter for you. Got a new collar? Donate your old one!

Unfortunately, due to costs... I wasn't able to save my cat. However, it wasn't due to the clinic at all. I will forever cherish the clinic's help when no one was able to admit us last minute on a weekend. They were very patient, caring and was willingly to give me options on what I can do for my baby. My boyfriend and I knew the worst case scenario and they gave us affordable options. I am very grateful for Dr. Sommerville. Becky was also wonderful. Thank you again. They really do care for you pet. Absolutely reccomended. R.I.P Blackie 💙💙

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
We have been bringing our pets to Dr. Watzin and her team for over 2 years now and have always been impressed by the level of service from the entire team - friendly, professional and they clearly love animals. The follow-up from the vets themselves post visit is also amazing. I cannot say enough about the Watzin Veterinary Clinic.

Highly recommend Watzin’s! My family has been using them for years and we have seen multiple vets here.
My most recent dog has huge issues going to the vet(Covid has not helped) and it’s a very stressful process for him and me. They handle it amazingly and I’m very impressed, especially since to me it feels like he must be one of their least enjoyable clients!
100% recommend!! They are also great with helping my cat lose weight! They check in on his progress regularly!

I brought my rescue dog Winston here as he was in terrible shape: parasites, tape worms, heartworm, malnourished. Dr Watzin and her team took Winston into their arms and their hearts and have worked with me to bring out his loving character and personality that was hidden in a traumatized pooch. I've had many pets, visited many vets and this clinic will genuinely treat you and your pet as family. Winston & I are blessed to have met such great caregivers and good people!
