Dr. Johal is certified to perform laser surgery by the American Board of Laser Surgery. She has performed hundreds of functional tongue tie releases and is training others on this amazing procedure to help more patients. Kim is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist with 20 years of experience in the dental field.

Great Dental Centre. Professional, attentive and friendly staff. Dr. Jahol is amazing, she answers questions graciously and explains solutions to any issues or discomfort. I have had a lot of anxiety going to the dentist in the past, but here it’s different. There is genuine care here and it shows! Highly recommend. 10 stars if it was an option.

I actually anticipate going to my dental appointment because the incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient staff! I am always welcomed with such a warm greeting, any nerves I get from dental visits just melt away. The admin staff, dental hygienists, Dr. Johal, and Shannon for myofunctional therapy are all such a lovely team of people who truly care for your well-being and dental health. They helped me understand my teeth and possible changes now that is a decade after my braces/ orthodontic

If you need a sign to call this office for yours or your child’s next appointment, this is it. I cannot say enough great things about the whole team at Family Dental Centre in Guelph. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to have a lip tie consultation, and from the moment we walked through the door the entire team blew me away. They immediately did everything they could to put my daughter at ease (putting on cartoons, bringing out a wagon full of blocks, singing Baby Shark!), and made sure to keep me calm too by explaining everything they were doing and giving me all of the information

The staff are very attentive and easy to work with. They worked with our child to ensure he was as comfortable as possible with the work they would do. They explained everything and showed him all of the tools. In the new covid world, they are very safe but still welcoming. My wife and I are also patients. As a family, we would recommend others to this Dental Centre.

We were referred to Dr. Johal by our midwife in order to check for a suspected tongue tie in our newborn after he had some early difficulties nursing. Not only was she amazing handling our deeply skeptical baby, she didn't just check for tongue and lip ties, she performed a comprehensive exam of his whole mouth and uncovered that the issue wasn't a tongue tie, but an overactive gag reflex instead.
She gave us tips on how to correct the issue at home, and was overall a delight to work with: friendly, knowledgeable and with a gift for teaching. Doing this all with clear safety protocols in place

As someone who has always hated going to the Dentist I can honestly say that Dr.Johal is the best Dentist I've had in my 39 years. She is gentle at her craft which is always a relief to me as I was used to Dentists turning my mouth into a horror show. Our appointments are filled with laughter and her team is just as great, they remember you by name and make it a comfortable environment.
