Soon after her family moved to Saskatoon to open a pizza restaurant called Toms House of Pizza and then a floor covering store called United Carpet. She graduated with her psychology degree from the University of Saskatchwan and a Social Work Degree from the University of Regina and the University of Waterloo.
She completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington and the University of Denver in Colorado. Brenda also has a MBA (CED) Masters in Business Administration in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Brenda Continues to enjoy many recreational activities including traveling, cycling, hiking, fishing and alpine skiing.
