Preventative Dentistry Report

Dr. Allan Hynes Periodontist Inc. offers several preventative periodontal services at our office in St. John's. We recommend periodontal checkups twice a year for patients with good oral health.

Implants and Extractions Report

Replacing your missing teeth with implants offers you the chance to live your life as if you had never suffered from missing teeth. When your implant treatment is complete, you should be able to chew, speak and socialize without experiencing the negative emotions that having missing teeth can sometimes cause.

Crown Lengthening Report

Crown Lengthening is a procedure to remove the excess gum tissue, exposing more of the "crown" portion of the tooth. During this procedure, the gum line is sculpted to create the right proportion between gum tissue and tooth surface. This sets the stage, allowing room for your General Dentist to attach Veneers or Crowns, while ensuring they have the correct length and shape.

Laser Periodontal Therapy Report

Traditional gum surgery involves cutting away some of the gum tissue, and reshaping the bone underneath. Laser periodontal therapy (LPT) is a less invasive technique using specialized laser to destroy the bacteria which cause the disease, and alter the tissue so that is has the opportunity to heal.

The staff here are very professional. Carla even came to the parking lot to get me for my appointment. My hygienist ( all the way from Conche, NL) was excellent.
My only issue is my expenses should be forwarded to the insurance companies directly. Doing it myself is a nightmare..
