Established in 2007 by a creative and a geographer in the heart of Edmonton's Old Strathcona market district, this little shop on the prairies began as a bespoke fine-art printer & accommodating place for academic poster printing. We now create pieces for individuals, businesses & interior designers.

Services
We print on a heavyweight matte paper; matte or satin premium photopaper; a range of fine-art papers; canvas, and some specialty papers. Most of our material comes in rolls and therefore pieces will have a slight curl when printed. We have some standard sizes we print most pieces at, which are listed on our current price guide.

Belinda was exceptionally helpful as she assisted me with my first experience printing a public domain fine art piece. She responded quickly to all my correspondance and the timeline was exceptionally fast! Further to that, the print itself turned out better than I had imagined, and I am just to pleased. I will definitely be using Vivid again.

This is an amazing local shop. I ordered an archive print from the YEG collection for my husband. We discovered a tiny mark on it upon unwrapping. I emailed Vivid and got a response *almost* instantly…and of course they replaced the print. My husband has the print hanging in his office and has picked out about four more to add to his new collection. To recap, customer service was top notch, prints are super cool, employees are amazing. Great shop for printing and framing! I’ve had fine art pieces framed here and the staff was incredibly helpful and set up a safe way to get my thoughts on framing. They treated my pieces like they were gold (gloves, only touching the edges of the paper). They ended up beautiful and the frames really complement the art!
Vivid print is also my go to for sewing pattern printing! They are quick, easy to upload my files and have a good price! Plus, they package very carefully, not taping the edges so there is no damage to the paper and in a plastic cover.

I have been getting Vivid Print to print large-format sewing patterns and they do a great job, making sure the scale is correct and only the layers I want get printed - you would not believe how hard it is to find somewhere that does this right. Uploading the files to the site is easy. Turnaround is quick. Service is with a smile. Once we re-launch, I will have to check the place out in person!

This is a must browse any time I find myself on Whyte. It's mostly known for the collection of amazing Edmonton prints, from maps to YEG art and they have an excellent framing service too. All your oicture needs in one place.
There is a great collection of greeting cards and random gift ideas from jewelry to teapots! I went in looking for their Accidental Beach t-shirts. I just love that this place sells so many YEG-tastic items. I discovered they also have Accidental Beach caps which was a tough choice for me. I'm looking forward to sporting my new T-shirt :)

I don't know why someone gave these folks a 1 star.. I give them a 5 star rating because I have had nothing but excellent personal service from these friendly people. I am a professional photographer that is recognized as one of the best in my genre in North America and each and every print has been exceptional and this is why I continue to do my business with them.

I just absolutely adore this store, it makes me smile every time I go in. It has such a lovely collection of prints that are just oh so Canadian! From vintage posters of the Canadian Pacific Railway, to vintage photographs of Edmonton, and my very favourite; the beaver and caribou nickel and quarter pictures.
They have books from Edmontonians and Canadian artist as well as really cute books and gifts for kids and adults. I especially love the card selection, and for anyone that is visiting from out of town, I always pick up a postcard for them by local artist, Jason Blower, with illustrations

I recently had a print framed here and couldn't be happier with the service and quality at this shop. I appreciated the staff's expertise in helping me with the framing options, and the finished piece looked fantastic. We will be back, likely for one of the archival photographs or maps. A fantastic local option!

I liked a lot of the art, but I was not impressed that children were allowed in with pornographic images on display. If an image has nudity it be placed in a section that people will anticipate it will be there. I try to keep high standards for myself, and I do not want to go into a store where they do not separate adult content, from art that is appropriate for all to view.
