Services
A dental implant is a small titanium screw that serves as a replacement for the root of a missing natural tooth. Titanium is biocompatible with human tissue, which means that over time, it will fuse with bone. That fusion creates a solid anchor for a replacement tooth. Dental implants can be used to replace single or multiple missing teeth and can be placed in the upper or lower jaw.
Gingival recession is a condition in which gum tissues shrink away from the crown of the tooth, making the tooth appear longer. It is commonly referred to as "receding gums." Recession exposes the tooth's root to the oral cavity, which may cause pain and sensitivity. The remaining tissues around a recessed tooth are often very thin, fragile, and chronically inflamed, making them prone to further recession.
Crown lengthening is a common surgical procedure that exposes more of the tooth by gently removing tissue from around the root and, in some cases, reshaping and recontouring the jaw bone. Crown lengthening can correct a "gummy" smile in which teeth are covered with excess gum tissue. For a restoration (filling or crown) to be strong, its margins must rest on sound tooth structure.
Our office is equipped with a state of the art, three dimensional cone beam C.T. scan (computerized tomography). This devise allows us to take detailed, three dimensional imaging of your jaws, teeth, and sinus cavity. The images are extremely useful in identifying and diagnosing pathological conditions of the jaws.
According to research conducted by the American Cancer society, more than 30,000 cases of oral cancer are diagnosed each year and of those, more than 7,000 result in the death of the patient. Oral cancer can often be detected in its early stages with an oral cancer screening exam. When oral cancer is diagnosed in its earliest stages, treatment is generally very effective.

As a dentist practicing in Toronto for over 15 years, I knew I was in good hands choosing Dr. Jordan Bender for gum graft surgery. His knowledge and expertise are quite evident. He has a wonderful chair side manner, and his staff are excellent. The procedure went well and I was very impressed with the post operative care. COVID protocols were followed strictly. Undoubtedly a wonderful experience, the friendliness and professionalism of the whole team at Aurora Periodontal is outstanding. I travel from the Beach in Toronto to see Dr. Bender. To me, I have more trust and confidence going to the clinic for procedures then any dental clinic I have ever been to before. He and his staff are extremely professional, thorough in explaining pre and post surgery care and are available if there are any issues or concerns. How often can you say, you were laughing through an extraction, without gas, I did!! Highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Bender is absolutely the best dental surgeon. I had a few dental surgeries done by him and believe it or not every time it was a fun time. He puts stitches skillfully fast and while doing this he tells you interesting stories. After his surgeries I didn't require any painkillers as everything healed very fast. His assisting staff are all great. I would highly recommed this doctor!

I would like to share my experience with Aurora Periodontal Centre. It is a busy centre, always booked for a month or two. There is a doctor Vinay M. Bhide who works there.
I was lucky one to have him as a surgeon. Dr.Bhide, dental surgeon has a talent, GOLD hands and OPEN mind. So, he made 3 implants for me during a year+ time period. The surgeries were absolutely painless, without any complications, and recovered very quickly. I’ve seen many doctors in my life, but not as good as Dr.Bhide. He did his job perfectly, I would say state of art work.

As a paramedic and owner of a CPR and First Aid company. I would like to congratulate Aurora Periodontal Centre for continually going above and beyond what is required by their Governing Body as a minimum standard of care. This dental office, on a yearly basis, is trained in both CPR and First Aid; to ensure they safety and well-being of their patients and staff. If a medical emergency were to arise, they are highly prepared!

Like The other reviewer stated - the reason I saw Dr. Bhide was because of a tooth extraction. My dentist actually did the extraction and Dr. Bhide helped with the aftermath and cleaning of my teeth.
Linda was my dental hygienist who absolutely was awesome! I had to have a lot of numbing gel and some added freezing as well. Long visits and many of them - but am very happy with the procedures and she was great! Knew just where to poke and where not to poke!

Like most dental patients I was terrified to do any dental work, until I could wait no longer.
I was referred to Dr. Bender by my family dentist, who advised me that I need four teeth pulled. I made the appointment with his clinic.
My first visit was a consultation. He explained to me exactly what had to be done, why and above all how much it would cost.
I decided to follow his recommendation and got the four teeth pulled all at once. Let me tell you that I was very anxious about having this procedure, but to my surprise he made it very pleasant, that's right pleasant
