Cosy Restaurant & Tavern is a true family operation that has served St. Catharines for generations. We started out in 1964 in a small coffee-shop but soon expanded many times over to meet growing demand and popularity. We have had parents bring in their children who have then grown up to bring in their own children, and we know a lot of these families by name.

I used to eat there many years ago, and loved there food, so I decided to order take out for a change, I usually order from Jasmine gardens In Niagara Falls, WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!
The worst food I have ever eaten!!!!
The honey garlic ribs were not only tasteless but were sooooo dry!!!
We also ordered lemon chicken (not too bad)
and we ordered Caronese fried noodles, HORRIBLE!!! the dish was not even eatabile, the broccoli was so old, and so tasteless!!!
I cannot tell you how incredibly disappointed I was!

Take out! I have to say though that their won ton soup is delicious. The spring rolls were good but the egg rolls inside weren’t cooked enough ,couldn’t even bite through.
The Wong #4 was OK but the chicken fried rice was just of clump of rice. Disappointed!
But ....... Cantonese Lo Mein was horrible. The noodles tasted like only soy sauce and everything was dry. The chicken could have been left over from the day before. Won’t order that again.

I ordered delivery, had a big order 65$ worth of food, when it arrived I was missing sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls we called back immediately and the sent it out right away, only to find later on (a few days later) the had charged my credit card and extra 5$ for delivering the sauce they forgot in the first place.
The food was bad and not what I remember as a kid, this is the last time I'll ever order food from cozy such schiesty business practice!!
