Lake House Restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor table service 7 days a week from 11:30am - 10:00pm! All reservations are for indoors only. Our patio is on a first come first served basis. We will not take reservations for our outdoor patio. To book a reservation for indoors, please visit our website or call us at 905-562-6777.
Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor's note until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. We had a really nice experience. We had just gotten engaged the day before and I had left a note asking for a window table. We arrived and the restaurant was packed. But somehow the staff still kept a window seat for us.
Our waitress also knew and came by and congratulated us and talked to us. She was very sweet.
We were also in a rush to leave as we had a flight to catch. Our waitress made sure our order was brought out really quick and we managed to leave right on time.

This is the second time I've ever been to Lake House restaurant and I have to say, the service is impeccable.
We came by for some celebrations and booked a time. Seating is limited, timing is precise and service is excellent.
We ordered many different items and I have to say food is as good as last time. I have to say lamb was probably the best dish. The cod was really good as was the steak and chicken. Caesar salad was good and the portion was large. Dessert was also good.
I'm honestly still surprised at the quality as I always thought this was going to be either a touristy

We showed up at this beautiful restaurant on the shore of Lake Ontario after having just completed a 4 mile hike. None of us were dressed properly for dinner, and our boots were likely still muddy from the trail. Still, rather than turn us away, they treated us exactly like the well dressed patrons surrounding our table. They were likely understaffed due to the pandemic, so service was understandably slow. The food was well worth the wait however. The filet mignon was cooked to medium rare perfection and served with a sliced potato and sauce that tasted like it was created by a fine Parisian chef

Meal Quality: My table ordered starters of PEI Mussels, which were prepared perfectly, and Brie skillet, which disappeared at first bite by everyone lol. We then ordered a Mediterranean Mezze platter to share afterwards. For an entree, I ordered the Boneless Short Ribs which were tender and had a beautiful cheery sauce draped over the meat. The lake house restaurant lived up to its reputation: Phenomenal service, delicious food, and the restaurant was immaculate from the table to the washrooms. We were fortunate enough to have a lakeview table and were served by the most patient and lovely staff ever. Our waitress, Amy, made our dining experience go by so smoothly. The crab cakes, paella, short rib, and seafood dish were all cooked perfectly and portions were very abundant. The cocktails and beers that we ordered were also great.
Despite everything else being perfect, the only hiccup of the evening was one employee at the front desk

My fiancee and I went here for a date before our wedding and it was amazing. We didn't have a reservation and got a great table next to the window. Great view. Our server was great! Tomato basil soup was delicious. The calamari were lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. We both had Caesar salad with sides of chicken and shrimp. Everything was perfect!! We will be back for sure.

I decided to take a few days to head down to the Niagara region and wanted to stop in between for lunch. Since we're still in a pandemic and I wasn't too comfortable dining indoors, I searched Yelp and found Lake House Restaurant. There is an outdoor patio that overlooks Lake Ontario.
The restaurant was pretty easy to find with GPS navigation. It's off of the QEW with a few turns that you have to navigate if you're headed east. There's plenty of parking. When I arrived just before lunch service started, there were already cars in the parking lot and they were already serving

Each time we head to Niagara, we’d see the packed parking lot and wonder what we were missing. We finally enjoyed a late lunch there and can’t wait to return! Our server, Isiah, was outstanding, the food, excellent! The baked Brie was out of this world, Caesar salad SO good, and no surprise that their burger was voted “Niagara’s Best”! Their cheesecake was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Pizza’s looked mouthwatering good, and we’re looking forward to enjoying their prix fixe dinner soon! Amazing experience. From food to service to the amazing view! Great experience overall. Nice house baked bread with fresh whipped butter. Breeze from lake Ontario and awesome entries. One must plan to come. Incredible service! I have seen this restaurant for years, and finally decided to try it out. The food was very very tasty as well. I would definitely return. Amazing food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Gorgeous views inside and out. Love this place.the desert was awesome, I loved everything in this restaurant, thanks so much

Quite the mix of attributes. Location = Spectacular. Outstanding views of the lake from pretty much anywhere, where outside on the patio where we are, or inside (where I have eaten previously). Service = competent and professional. Nice friendly team did a great job, although stopped short of a sense of genuine welcome. Maybe because there are still plenty of tourists. Wasn't sure what to expect, given that this seemed like a very touristy spot, with high visibility from the highway, but happy to report, the restaurant exceeded our expectations.
The location and surrounding grounds are very picturesque, a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake, and it's easy to spend time before or after your meal to simply walk out and enjoy the view and maybe take a picture or two.
The service was competent and professional, and the prices weren't terribly out of line.
Inside, the atmosphere is bright and though we sat indoors to enjoy the air conditioning

Beautiful surroundings for a delicious meal.
We enjoyed not only a great meal but also a great view of Lake Ontario.
We ordered Semolina Crusted Calamari as an appetizer and Beef squires, Fish Tacos and Pizza for entrees. There was a mini-dessert tray to choose from and we ordered Caramel Pecan Fudge Cheesecake, Gluten Free Chocolate Cake and Pecan Tart and enjoyed every bite.
The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly, the surroundings were great, and their COVID plan was well executed.
We enjoyed not only a great meal but also a great view of Lake Ontario.

We've been passing by this restaurant for years while driving west on the QEW. Never in my dreams would I have thought that this restaurant would be this good. I thought we would get small portions for an expensive price. Boy, was I wrong! This restaurant is perfect in all ways. Perfect atmosphere, ambiance, food and price. We celebrated my moms birthday and we all especially her were happy! I was extremely impressed with the portions and quality of the food. The $43 prix fix menu is awesome too. I highly recommend this restaurant for locals and tourists. You won't be disappointed!!!

First off this two star is not based on service when I first came in the waitress was super friendly was very attentive. I looked at the menu they had some stuff that looked good I ordered the shrimp Mac and cheese for 26 dollars it was a complete rip off the macaroni was greasy the taste was mediocre that won't even fill up a toddler. They are scamming people for the price they charge portion size is so small. You have to make reservation for this place lol please. The o my thing good here was the service that's it. Probably 100 percent sure I'm never coming back here I think it

I've been here a few times, however, during my last visit, the service, atmosphere and everything about the restaurant was much better! The staff here were pretty friendly. The restaurant itself is so nice! I've sat on their patio before, and during the last visit I sat inside. Sitting outside, you get an amazing view of the lake, when you sit inside, the ambience is just beautiful.
My all time favourites here would be the Penne Pollo with a side Grilled Garlic Shrimp, the Arrabiata Pizza, and the Semolina Crusted Calamari. All three dishes were amazing!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide in Niagara Falls. Its about a 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls, it's in the city of Ste-Catharines. This restaurant as you can guess by its name is right on lake Ontario. This is a Mediterranean restaurant and it is one of the best.
First and foremost you need to reserve in advance, when the weather permits you can sit at the terrasse which is right by lake Ontario, you can't reserve for outside but once you get there you can ask to go out and usually within a 10 minute time frame a table opens up.

I have yet to be disappointed by the Lake House. This restaurant is located in a historic house right of the QEW Niagara and is ALWAYS BUSY! My family always makes special occasion trips here and yes its decently expensive but the food is amazing and very elegantly done. Service is also spectacular. You will be paying 10-20$ for an appetizer and about $20-$40 for most entrees, but like I said worth it for sure!
