First-time customers at Big Marco's discover authentic Italian cuisine, but the culinary pleasures get better for many patrons who have returned frequently since 1983. For more than 35 years, loyal customers say they have made the restaurant at 274 Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines their dining destination because the family operated eatery consistently serves an exquisite variety of delicious foods in a friendly atmosphere.
The D'Intino family combines their old country traditions at Big Marco's with a new generation of ideas to create a successful blend of hospitality and business. In fact, there are four generations in the family operated restaurant; Nona cooks in the kitchen, while young servers take care of guests.

Ordered and it was easy. Put on a brief hold cuz I know it would be busy. They said about 45 minutes! Was here in 30. Hot hot hot! Driver was great thank you for the fast service. Pizza and bruschetta. Not stingy on the toppings and the Bruschetta had a nice twist to the other restaurants idea of it. So excited to order again and see if I just got lucky or if this is always how they are. Thank you to all.

Restaurant was tidy with a nice atmosphere. Over $9 for a 6oz glass of Niagara wine seemed a bit steep. After realizing our server didn't know what a nigroni was, my friend settled on a martini since it was on special. It tasted like a gin-soda that had been sitting out all day.
Bread was definitely baked from frozen but still tasty. I enjoyed the chic pea salad, but I don't think I would pay $11 for it again. Their marinara sauce was also pretty good. I think this place is palatable to a wide variety of people; good for groups, not an ideal for date night.
