Services
I grew up in Thompson, Manitoba and had 11 years of schooling where I became a huge lover of hockey. I graduated from high school at John Taylor Collegiate in 1973 and then took the 10 month Automotive Repair course at Red River Community College. During the next five years, worked as an auto technician and obtained my Interprovincial licence.
My 2012 F150 was starting to shift slightly out of sync. I use my truck for work M-F, the Saturday appointment was extremely convenient. I expected a tranny oil flush. Julian took my truck in at 8am on Saturday, had it inspected and road tested by 9. I got the phone call with their results. The problem was a small misalignment with my driveshaft.
This location had 4 bays, but for the first 2 1/2 years, I shared the building with Thrifty Car Rental. I operated 3 bays and Thrifty had 1 bay. I stayed at that location for a total of 8 years. When my lease was up, I realized that Lanpro had outgrown that building. After months of searching, I located our present location, 1870 Ellice Avenue, in Winnipeg.

I purchased a car from lanpro which was amazing! But sadly a deer to decide to write it off... So when I purchase an unsafe-tied used car, I instantly decided to take it to Lanpro for the safety inspection. I initially though their quote was a little high for the work required, but after comparing it to 3 separate auto body shops I found out it was… more than reasonable. Scott fixed my car up so nicely, I can’t even recognize it. I am so happy with the work provided to me I will continue going here no matter what! Than you so much! Scott, Julian and Lance! GREAT customer service they fit me last minute for new battery change and quick diagnostic on a Friday Just received a big bang at my door, all doorbells ringing, scared the heck out of my dog. yet only to find… in my mailbox gifts from my new mechanic. A box of chocolates with $200 in gift certificate, lunch bag, key chain and coffee cozy! Boy was I surprised!

Honest!! Can you say that about many car repair places? LanPro deserves this description. The respect and care that is provided has convinced me to bring all my family's cars to this auto repair garage. "this is what you need" "You will be needing to replace this in the next six months" "this is still within factory specifications so you don't need to replace it"
I brought my Infinity EX35 to the Infinity dealer and was told the brake rotors are under specs so they need to be replaced - so it needs a brake job - $400- $600 dollars.
