Seven Oaks Transmissions is a full-service automotive transmission repair business that has been serving Winnipeg since 1980. A complete transmission overhaul, also known as a transmission rebuild, a transmission is completely removed from vehicle and disassembled in our shop. Each of the parts is laid out on a workbench and is inspected for damage and wear. The parts are then either cleaned in a special cleaning solution or replaced if damaged.

Excellent service! I’m lucky to have found this place after my mechanic of 30 plus years died. 7 Oaks is honest and knowledgeable- two of the most important things when getting your vehicle repaired.

They explain things. They keep a tidy shop. Biggest things for me though were they’re honest and they know what they’re doing when it comes to repairing your vehicle. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, even though it feels like A long drive from where I live. A really nice place to deal with.

I recently had to have some work done on my old 2003 Toyota Matrix AWD which was in need of some transfer case repair, I was recommended to see Bob at Seven Oaks Transmission and I am so glad I did. Right from the time I went in and spoke to the service manager Frank I was treated with immediate friendly and courteous service but beyond that speaking with Frank, Bob (the owner) and one of the younger service techs I got the impression that they really knew what they were talking about they showed

Seven Oaks Transmissions is fantastic! Not only did they correctly diagnose and repair the issue I brought in with my Ford F150, they also correctly diagnosed two other issues (Failing U joint and rear brake pads), they correctly repaired all the issues and the Truck drives better than when I purchased it!! They were fair and concerned with pricing and showed me all the failed components! Professional and friendly from start to finish! From Frank at the front desk to Garrett, Kyle and the guys working on the vehicles they are awesome!

In my opinion the best Transmission shop in Winnipeg. The owner personally road tests the vehicles himself, he is directly involved in all repairs. The tech's in the shop area are very knowledgeable, damn good and persistent. They had to hand drill the outer casing to remove a part stuck in the transmission. Saved the removal and install of the transmission because of the skill the tech's have here. Worth the shop rate here.

I had the genuine pleasure of doing business here a couple of weeks ago when my wife's Toyota Matrix suddenly stopped driving after performing a u-turn. Not knowing whether it was axle-related or an issue with the transmission itself, we managed to tow it a few blocks to the nearest repair shop, which happened to be Seven Oaks Transmission.
All of the staff were friendly and accommodating as we explained our predicament, but they regretfully advised us that they were booked solid for almost two weeks. Despite that, however, they said that they would try to have a quick look at it the next day

Was certain my transmission was gone in my Grand Cherokee. Left it with them and came back to find out I had severe uneven tire wear. Told I needed a new tires. Problem solved. Could have soaked me for $ thousands but they are too honest. Helpful and friendly. Top notch !!

Fantastic place! My vehicle was acting weird and they found the problem and fixed it. So fast, so easy, and much cheaper than the dealership. I would never reccomend this place to even my worst enemy. Terrible customer service and terrible workmanship!!!!! We had our transmission done here a few years ago, its been back 5+ times on warranty work and had to be replaced several times!!! Bob never calls us back even after voice mail after voice mail. When the truck is in on warranty work… they take their sweet time finishing the job, with no loaner vehicle. They try to upsell other parts since they aren't making any money on the warranty work. This place shouldn't even be in business! Maybe its time to get a lawyer and contact the

I always feel very well cared for when I go here. They don't just take care of my car, they make sure I have a… good understanding of what I am paying for. They always treat me with dignity and respect when I come in and I have never felt that going into any other shop. I feel blessed to have found these guys!
