From the moment you step foot in the Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital of Niagara Falls and Thorold, you'll feel the difference immediately. You and your pet will be welcomed with open arms, and made to feel right at home. We believe the experience you both have with us should be as positive and stress-free as possible.
That means always taking the time to listen to you, answer your questions and educate you on all of your options. It also means getting right down on your pet's level to offer that extra chin scratch or belly rub. And if that doesn't work, we've got plenty of treats to sweeten the pot!

They make you wait outside and take your dog inside due to COVID (Even when the restriction was lifted they emailed they MIGHT consider to have in person visit ). They've given my dog shots that were not necessary without my consent.
Their prices are higher than everywhere and I wouldn't have a problem with that if their service was good and trustable.

Amazing clinic with very professional and caring staff. Dr. Amanda has been seeing our senior cat for a number of years. And just recently our new senior dog which needed extensive dental work. She is honest , compassionate and has always recommends what is in the best interest of our pets.
All the vet techs are also very caring, kind and professional.

Team is very helpful, caring and definitely loving towards animals. 8 puppies came in to get there first shots etc. The team formed a line and one by one seen the veterinarian…. They were very organized.
Veterinarian was very informative not pushy at all.

Nikki was absolutely amazing! she was very polite and super friendly, and my kitten loved her. the dr that helped us (i believe her name was olivia, she is blonde) was also absolutely amazing! both ladies were very professional and connected really well with my kitten, and made her feel very comfortable while she was getting her first vaccines. both me and my kitten felt so comfortable and i left feeling very pleased.

I've had to move a few times, so I have had experience with a few different vet clinics and have never had any problems until I came here. I took my puppy here to get his shots. They have you park and wait in the car while they take your pet in which is totally fine but you would think they would go over things with you first before they do anything. All the vet clinics i've been to, the vet themselves go over exactly what vaccines they will be giving and ask if you want the optional ones ie leptospirosis or bordatella. Well at this place the vet calls you AFTER they have already given the shots

Fantastic staff. My puppy Willy was really sick and needed blood work, and they took such good care of him. Even the next day when he was transferred to the emergency vet, they called to ask how we were doing and for an update if we had one. If my baby pulls through, he’s definitely coming back here.

I have had great experiences here, but one terrible one that has resulted in switching vets. My oldest cat was very sick and, contrary to many of the reviews I have read, I received no information on his disease, and no instructions on the food and medications they gave me, I was handed a box in a parking lot. I begged for help and advice, crying on the phone and got none. It did not seem to bother them when I said I would have to go to a different vet to get some help. So that is what I did. My cat & I had a personal over 1 hour appointment (we are in stage 3 after all) with an alternate clinic
