I wish I could give 0 start to this place, I have no idea how this place could still exist.
My dog got bit by other dog last night and we brought him here. They charge us over $700 at first and then told us we need pay $3300-6600 to do a surgery, to cut my baby open and see if there is any injury inside of him, and it could be cost for over $10,000!!!
We can’t check our dog how bad he is. They only talk to us through the phone and we can only see them when we pay.
The most ridiculous thing was they told us the situation was seriously bad and waiting us to decide if we are paying for that

This is my third time bringing one of my dogs there and I absolutely admire their hard work, dedication and care. Very communicative, understanding and wonderful with my pups. Thanks for all that you've done.

The first weekend of December I had an emergency with my elderly dog who was not doing well, we were there 2x a day that weekend and the staff was extremely compassionate and understanding with us. They treated my best friend with respect and were very gentle with him and honest and straightforward with me which was incredibly appreciated. They gave me honest advice and answered all of my questions (there were many).
Dr Shepherd was the first doctor he saw the first night we were in, she was honest about his prognosis but also was very kind and went with it when I requested more tests and information

We had an emergency with our Yorkie he started vomiting after eating tuna and they wanted him to stay there for 2 days for 2400.00. After sitting for 2 hours in the parking lot, the vet called us with our quote. They didnt tell us what was wrong with him, the vet just said he needed to be there. I wasnt comfortable leaving him with them so I asked them to treat his vomiting and dehydration, and I would take my dog to his vet when they opened. They gave him fluids and medicine for his vomiting and the next morning he was fine. I paid before they treated him, and then they called back and said I

We brought our dog here on the weekend when we noticed he wasn’t being himself and was lethargic. He ended up needing surgery and the staff here were amazing. They were so compassionate and always updating us on how he was doing. We’re very thankful he was in such good hands!

While we decided it was best to say goodbye to our beloved 13-year-old dog Bella this morning, I can't thank all the staff enough. They were incredibly kind and understanding and never once pressured us to make a decision right then and there. From phoning the clinic very early this morning, to me explaining my dog's symptoms and my reservations about her age and the probable cost of treatment, the staff respected our decisions throughout the entire way and made the initial grieving process easier to accept. They even sent us a sympathy card in the mail which was completely unexpected and extremely

The Niagara Emergency Vet Clinic was fantastic with us today. Our 6 year old German Shepherd got into the kitchen compost, which (unfortunately) isn't anything new. The next day she began vomiting and was extremely lethargic. I called this clinic and they advised me if her lethargy becomes paired with another symptom (continued vomiting, diarrhea, panting etc) to then bring her in, but as of right now it just sounds like she has an upset tummy. 5 hours later, we're awoken to vomiting and diarrhea so we took her right in. As this clinic operates just like a human ER and sees patients based on severity

I attended this ER vet clinic twice for my male anatolian GSD mix. His name was Bandit.
The first time he randomly got sick and the vet took us in immediately, ensuring they followed through with anything they could do.
The office was informative, the vet and staff were really kind, accommodating with covid 19 being present, and always asked my approval before they did any xrays, treatments, etc.
the vet office gave me samples of a probiotic for Bandit, which Really helped him.
Unfortunately within the span of 3 months i was back at the ER vet. I stayed up with Bandit since 3am, noticing he

Brought our kitten in who ended up needing an emergency surgery. Everyone I spoke to and interacted with was so thorough and caring. Dr. Kristina was so empathetic and gave us constant information and updates, and helped us to make the right medical choices for our little guy. A huge thank you to her and Dr. Price who performed Kingsley's surgery, and to Mitch who was so busy helping other pet parents, but arranged for me to spend a quick 5 minutes with Kingsley before his surgery.
Thank you Niagara Veterinary Emergency Clinic!

We adopted a 14 year old Persian cat named Ruby. She has a few issues in her old age. We just moved to St. Catharines right before the pandemic hit and she's needed care a couple of times. Once was an incident where she couldn't stop vomiting. We're still not sure what caused it, but since treatment, she's been fine. The most recent time we tried to groom her mats out because the groomers are all closed, and her skin is just so thin that we nicked it with the clippers. We wanted to make sure the wound didn't get infected. The vet cleaned it out and glued it shut. They were so quick and good with
