Like you and I pets are at risk of contracting many diseases. Fortunately many can be prevented through regular bi-annual pet examinations and vaccinations. Vaccinations fortify the immune system and aid in fighting diseases by preparing the body for intruding organisms that it may encounter and help build a strong immune system to defend your pet's health.
Below you will find short descriptions of common diseases we vaccinate against for cats and dogs. Commonly seen symptoms are sneezing, runny noses, irritated or runny eyes and sometimes coughing. Some cats survive this virus, others will remain carriers for the rest of their lives. Always vaccinate your pet.
Below you will find short descriptions of common diseases we vaccinate against for dogs. Clinical signs include fever, runny nose, coughing and vomiting that may progress to muscle twitching and seizures. Following a vaccination plan is recommended to protect your dog. Common symptoms are a dry, retching cough with foamy white discharge, as well as fever, diarrhea, and conjunctivitis.
As animals age their health care needs evolve with them. Our tailored health and wellness programs help to pinpoint their personalized medical needs and help you stay ahead, with ongoing preventive care, so you and your pet can live happy healthy lives. Establishes baseline information to help screen for early signs of potential diseases.

Took my baby girl bunny to have her spayed at 6 months and they took great care of her. She’s just over a year old now and no issues with recovery.

The business and the standards it holds is extremely awful. A friend of mine had a terrible experience that involved her bunny passing away. The customer service was not up to standards considering her bunny came in to get simple blood tests to discover if it had any underlying conditions. In the end the animal was put under without her knowledge. The bunny passed away and she ended up paying for a bunch of expenses include the surgery, which she didn’t even know about. The workers unfortunately were extremely insensitive while she just found out about her bunny passing. Not impressed

I wish I could give them no stars. My rabbit went into their clinic this morning for a neutering. I payed extra for blood work so I could take extra precaution. My rabbit died on the table. I understand things happen and my rabbit was believed to have a heart condition I was unaware of. When the vet called me about his death he was not sincere in the slightest. He told me the surgery failed and I still owed him the costs of the surgery. Not only did I have to pay for the entire surgery that killed my bunny, they charged me $250 as a cremation fee. Absolutely disgusting that they called me hours

Amazing care, brand new puppy and they have been so patient with my questions, so caring and supportive. Recently put down my 20 year old yellow lab Grizzly, they were amazing during a emotional time, would recommend to everyone.

Lets start with Positives: They booked my puppy in for spay quickly, and the surgery went well. The vet did let me decide if I wanted blood work done prior to surgery, or not, so I was able to make a decision and remove that cost. Vet assistant seemed pleasant during drop off and pickup. Location is good, with lots of parking. Negatives: Pricing (no tax in) given on the phone, was slightly different once I got there for surgery day (no tax in). They also won't let you inside the clinic at all, everything is done outside, even with payment. It was kind of cold and windy, so would have liked to be

Fantastic!! Our family cannot rave enough about this wonderful Veterinary office. We found ourselves desperate for vet attention after our lovely ten year old dog had surgery. We could not get our own vet to take us or Hospital that performed surgery and had left numerous messages for two days before long week-end. Fruitland Veterinary Hospital came to our rescue ,without judgement or comment on previous care. They simply agreed to see our dog before they closed . Fitting us in as they did on a long weekend and not even their patient was going above and beyond . Our dog's surgical site was seeping

Awesome vet. Took our foster bunny in as an emergency, he had part of his eye lid bitten off by a sibling. They did surgery that day and saved it eye lid. He’s pretty much healed now and his hair is growing back. He looks great. I can’t thank them enough!!

This is my first and last experience with Fruitland Vet. My intention is not to be rude or spread hate, but rather to inform any pet rat owners of my experience with my rat Nacho. I had been calling around to locate different exotic vets in my area incase of a medical emergency and the timing was good as shortly after this I noticed my baby… snuffling and showing obvious signs of a URI, which is highly common in rats. I also noticed an increased scratching and had a good idea that he might also have rat lice, another common rattie issue. My first impression of the Fruitland vet was good

The staff at Fruitland veterinary clinic are always friendly and helpful. Our last dog was always scared of other vets but would willingly walk into Fruitland. Our current dog is the same. In fact she loves the staff and can’t wait to get in the door. Dogs know. Both Dr Gilbert and Dr Apollo are gentle and genuinely care about the animals and people.

THANK YOU so much for saving Remi’s life !! He is becoming his mischievous self again and we couldn’t be happier with the care provided. A vet that puts animals first !! When I called about my poor sick bunny without hesitation I was told to come in right away and I did. He was given the right meds to make him better and my best friend is going to be ok!! I wasn’t gouged for money either !!

Do not recommend at all. I brought my pet for an eye infection and they did not even bother to go over the cost prior. The cost ended up being triple of what I had paid with my previous vet when I brought my pet for the exact same issue (last year). They took over an hour even though when I dropped off my pet, they said it would be a few minutes. No apologies for not going over the cost with me prior. The vet was very rude and told me to go to my previous met.

Used to be my vet, but will be changing vets. The vets are just appalling. I spent so much money trying to figure out what was wrong with my dog for the vets to essentially say I don’t know, but here are products we want to sell to you. I figured out what was wrong with her by doing research. How is it that I could figure it out, but the vets couldn’t after several diagnostic tests. I’m disgusted because we spent so much money and our dogs health became progressively worse.

Dr. Gilbert is unprofessional and doesn't offer any confidence in his work based on my experience with Fruitland. I dropped my bunny off to get neutered where I signed a waiver and was told that surgery would start between 10am to 12am. After noon, Dr. Gilbert called me to address my concerns even though I was expecting for the procedure to be… almost finished. During this call Dr. Gilbert was very passive aggressive and asked if I wanted to move foreword with the surgery even though I had already confirmed everything. He mentioned that it was getting late so I'm not sure if he was in a

The office is clean and set up nicely. the cats that are there r cute and adorable. I will recomend them from cats and dogs to anything in between.

Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They are also compassionate. This picture shows a mama cat and her 5 kittens. Mama needed some support after the birth of her kittens and Dr. Gilbert rushed in to see her. This is a foster cat with a rescue. This clinic is a vital partner to the rescue, providing vital support, even in emergencies! I highly recommend them to provide loving support for your pets!
