Dr. Nitin Mehta, General Dentist, completed his dental education in 2004. After working as an associate dentist for two years, he started his own private practice in Mumbai, India. He has over 12 years of clinical experience with expertise in Endodontics, Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry. Prevention is always the best and most comfortable treatment. We like to see all of our patients at least annually for a full examination so that we can detect any problems when they are small/just starting. We also recommend regular visits with our hygienist to keep the gums healthy and the teeth free of deposit and stain.
We will listen to your concerns, problem history and symptoms. A review of your medical history will tell us if there is anything else that may be influencing the problem. Medications, for example, can cause mouth dryness that can make swallow difficult for some, and for others increase susceptibility to cavities.

I took my mom for a tooth extraction, the worst experience she ever had at a dentist office. Dr Kim did the extraction, rude, very impolite, the whole time he was yelling to his assistant, he also started to behave very rude with my mom, (zero empathy for patients). Going to the dentist its not a pleasant experience and Dr Kim made it even worst. Not very skillful neither, very unfortunate experience. New and temporary patient, they took me in instantly and provided excellent service over a number of different procedures. I am very happy with the fit and appearance of a crown and fillings. An extraction went smoothly and quickly and healed well.

I have been coming here for the past 3 years and I receive consistently expert, professional, and quality experience among reception, the hygienists, and the dentists.
Today I had Miranda do my cleaning and in all of my years of receiving a cleaning I have never had someone be as patient, thorough, and attentive to the quality and care of the service.

Dr. Bhatti is an amazing young dentist. He carefully diagnoses you, and gives exceptional service. I've gone to many dentists, but he stands above them all. 100/10 rating if I could give it. I believe he is easily one of the best upcomers in BC if not Canada. I recommend him to anyone who is scared to go to the dentist or has had dissatisfying experiences prior, Dr.Bhatti will make sure you are comfortable in his practice.

The Doctor and the team here are absolutely wonderful. They schedule my appointments with handy reminders by text, phone and/or by email. They are kind, considerate and thoughtful and remember me and my family every time we come in. They are kid friendly and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great dental group! :)

The whole team at Smile has been awesome for the past 4 years.
Today though, they took it to the next level. I brought in my three year old daughter for my appointment and planned to plunk her down with paw patrol while I got my teeth cleaned, hoping she would sit still and not be to much of a distraction in the office.
What happened though was she was involve in the whole process, learning about what was happening and she even got to 'help'. We won't go anywhere else and my daughters first appointment is now booked and she can't wait!

My husband, myself have been patients of Smile Dental for about 8 years now. We are very pleased with the services, the professionalism and knowledge of Dr Bajaj. She is an excellent dentist and is very approachable, and friendly. Jessica who is at the front desk is super helpful and friendly, and it is nice to get texts or emails to remind me of my appt :-) I also really really recommend Marie as a hygienist. She is very passionate about her job and does an excellent job. She is very knowledgeable, professional, yet gentle and quick.. she truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend this

Im updating my review from 5 stars to 3. My husband and I have been coming to Smile dental since early 2011 but about a year ago a had a bad experience with the hygienist, I don't want to go into too many details lets just say it was the worst experience Ive had with a hygienist. They also have changed their receptionist in the last several years some of the ladies are nice some can be rude or pushy. I still gave the dental clinic a 3 stars overall I still really like the main dentist Dr. Bajaj but its not how it use to be.

They overcharge and suggest work that are not needed immediately!! If you say "No" they try to pressure you into getting it done anyway or you're a bad person. People have different reasons for not getting dental work done. The biggest part is money. Not everyone can afford $250+ dental bill after you leave their chair. This clinic is a money grabbing clinic!! If you have alot of money sitting around that you have no use for. This is the place to drop it off at!!

My experience here at Smile Dental was absolutely wonderful, to start at the front desk Jessica was really nice and very helpful. I had to show up with out appointment, I had a very bad infection in my tooth, and inflammation, they had to make a little surgery, with so little pain, Dr Rezaie, He was wonderful, and also Laura the other Odontologist who also speaks Spanish as me :)

Having been a client for over three years, the service i receive is spectacular. Everyone is friendly, informative, and very professional. The dental office, for most people, is a very daunting place; but the staff here always make me feel welcome and at ease. The best part that I enjoy most is the price point of the Zoom Whitening service. After comparing prices among several dental offices, Smile Dental offers the best price out there. My whitening results were phenomenal and I recommend it to everyone!

Had an issue with the office sending me an invoice dated for March 2014 for an appointment in Feb 25, problem is I never had an appointment in 2014.
When I called and explained the situation and expressed my concern that they may have billed my insurance incorrectly the office manager was very defensive and argumentative, started yelling over the phone screaming the customer is not always right and she didn't have to do anything to clear this up, basically threatening me.

I went here once. I felt uncomfortable and pushed. When I was filling out the forms, there was a sheet to give my credit card number (not a credit card billing but just a plain sheet with name and credit card number wanted). I handed it back and said I am not filling that in. I could understand the need if I was getting orthodontic work or long term expensive work, but not for a check up.
