Ensure that we are compliant with Health, Safety, and Environment, and other pertinent regulations. Achieve, and/or exceed results that we committed to, and innovate as part of our continual improvement process. Maintain an effective Quality Assurance System complying with International Standards ISO 9001 (Quality Systems).
In 2013, Fortis achieved 14001 Environmental Certification through ISO. The environmental policies are in place across the Group of Companies and are a key component in the work that we do. We take care to ensure that we are identifying and mitigating any potential environmental hazards in our shops and at job sites.
Fortis is a proud supporter of The Make-A-Wish Charity. An employee-driven Committee has been established to drive fund-raising while keeping in mind the other areas of social responsibility. Paper, pop cans, containers and batteries are recycled and funds collected are deposited into the charity fund.
Fortis is committed to providing a Safe/Harassment free working environment for all personnel working under Fortis' Management: As such, Fortis has established a Health and Safety Program which guides the company in all its business.
