Services
I have been practicing physiotherapy since 2000. I graduated from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom with a bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy and completed the Ontario International Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program (OIEPB). I am also a certified sensory integration therapist from the SIPT program, and properly trained in prescribing custom-made orthotics in an advanced level.
Besides providing an individualized physiotherapy treatment and prescribing therapeutic exercise program, physiotherapist also provides advice and education on preventing re-occurrence of your injury or prevention of future injury. Getting treatment prior to surgical procedures improve your functional level which gives you a better starting point to recovery.
Our registered massage therapists are skilled to treat a variety of conditions, and will compose treatment program to meet each patient's condition and injury. Message therapists work on soft tissues aiming for a positive effect on soft tissues: reducing tension, swelling, pain and spasm, to aid recovery.
Orthotics are designed to assit proper alignment for your foot and ankle, and since all our feet are unique orthotics off the shelf does not solve the problem you may be experiencing. Our custom orthotics are custom-made to fit your specific foot shape and condition. Together with a properly fitted footwear, orthotics can help to realign your foot and ankle, thus relieve strain and stress in your feet, ankle and other parts of your body e.g.
Like regular physiotherapy treatment, we provide assessment on initial contact and develop a treatment program based on your goals and needs. The only difference is that all the above are performed in your home environment, elderly residences, or in the hospital. There could be many reasons why you would prefer to have your treatment performed in your home environment.
