The Yellowhead Inn has been a vital part of Edmonton's industry since its construction in 1972. Since then, it has played host to the men and women who have laboured to make this province and this city as great as they are today. Many have come for the convenience of its location and the allure of its affordable room rates, and many more have come back for the friends they have made with the exceptional staff and guests.
With 153 rooms, the Yellowhead Inn is among the largest of the hotels in West Edmonton. With rates as low as $85, our hotel is the most affordable and most reliable in the city. Its pride is also held in its numerous facilities, ranging from our full-service restaurant to banquet facilities, a bar, and brand-new VLTs in our lounge.

Don’t even bother, it’s dirty (rooms aren’t cleaned, there was stains on the sheets, toilet wasn’t cleaned and garbage left in the room from god knows when) the front never picks up their phones - which you have to call with your personal phone as the phones don’t work in the room. Also, the elevators close on you (literally), which would be fine if you were told beforehand.
Never again, I wouldn’t even allow my worst enemy stay here. -100000/100

I've stayed at this hotel a few times an never had an issue, till this last time. Horrible, i asked for a pet friendly smoking RM, which I got but the shower made some loud pounding noise all night, there was only a single dull lamp in the room so it's was dark, and there was a missing light cover on the wall and to wires sticking out of it. Have to say it was the worst stay and for 140$ I should of just went to nisku and got at room at the Paradise Hotel at least their rooms are are new and it would of been 30$ cheaper

Got in late to the hotel and was super hungry decided to eat in the hotel restaurant.
The food was great and a wonderful pricebut the service we received from the waitress was second to none .. the waitress was amazing.
Absolutely loved her and so glad we stayed at the hotel for dinner this evening.
She’s honestly made it a wonderful experience:)

If you are not a train enthusiast who enjoys the constant noise and continuous trains going by then this is not a hotel for you. The fire alarms are triggered by the vibrations of the trains and randomly go off. Don’t try to use the telephone in your room because they are not connected. If you need to call the front desk they give you a number to call using your own cell phone. My coworker had her laundry stolen from the dryer by some undesirable hotel guest only to have security involved to get it back. We used a laundromat after that. Masks were reinstated in Edmonton but I guess they forgot
