We take pride in providing individualized dental services in a friendly, comfortable environment. Our team of highly skilled dental professionals provide patient-centered and problem-oriented dental treatment planning. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive dental care with an emphasis on maintaining optimal oral health through patient education.
Kim received with Honours a Bachelor of Science with distinction and Master of Science at the University of Toronto. He also received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario. During his dental training, Dr. Kim received the Canadian Academy of Endodontics Award for excellence in performing root canal treatments.
In order to eliminate mercury containing dental materials, we provide resin based dental restorations that have characteristics similar to natural teeth. Dental crown is a pre-fabricated restoration that covers the outer surface of natural tooth. It may be fabricated entirely or partially of precious metal, ceramic material, or resin.

I've been going to Yonge Sheppard Dental for years now. All the staff here are lovely. You are greeted by Isabel, who is welcoming and such a pleasure to talk to. I’ve been treated by pretty much all the staff here (Dr. Kim, Dr. Lee, Sharon, Trina, and Sylvia). They are all fantastic!! All very professional and friendly. It's also located at a very convenient location, which is a plus!

Yonge & Sheppard Dental was the first dental office I used after moving to Toronto and the only other one I've visited after an office I've used since childhood and I feel so lucky that I was recommended to them from my partner who also comes to this dental office because I want to keep coming here as long as I can. Isabel at the front desk is amazing, she always has such a positive attitude, friendly, and so helpful. And Dr. Kim is an exceptional dentist, he really takes the time to explain what is going on with your teeth and is truthful about what you need vs other dentists that might be suggesting

While searching for a new dentist, I came across Yonge Sheppard Dental and my experience has been very pleasant! The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable and are always a pleasure to speak to. Dr. Kim is a great dentist and for someone who had a terrible experience with dentists in the past, he made me feel very comfortable and reassured during my visits. It's been 2 years now that I'm a customer of Yonge Sheppard Dental and needless to say, I've had the best dental experiences here. Dr. Kim, Sharon, Isabel (receptionist) and every other staff are truly the best people and professionals you can ever meet. I've had all my 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Kim and he was being super nice, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend you visit this place as the team truly cares about you! :)
