Life throws us many challenges and at times it can be challenging to navigate on your own. Wolff Psychological Services provides individual counselling, consultation, and assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults in the Fraser Valley. If your child is struggling with academic learning, memory, or attention issues, a psychoeducational assessment (Psych Ed) may be helpful in understanding your child's learning abilities.
As there is no "one size fits all" Wolff Psychological Services offers a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches and evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Sandtray Therapy.

A comprehensive psychoeducational assessment can be valuable in identifying an individual's strengths and challenges in daily functioning. Kim has a broad range of experience in school and educational psychology and following completion of a comprehensive assessment, will formulate a plan to address challenges in learning and behaviour.
At Wolff Psychological Services, the goal of therapy is to support clients in learning skills that they can continue to use on their own. Online (Telehealth) and In-person counselling and therapy is offered to guide clients through life's challenges and to create their own life worth living. My priority is to work collaboratively with clients to help them develop their own goals for growth within a place of emotional safety.
The assessment process will begin with a comprehensive interview to better understand the reasons for bringing you to Wolff Psychological Services. You will be asked to provide some history about the presenting issues such as: when did the problem start, how do these problems affect your child's life at home, school and social life.
