Canadian Technical Roofing (or simply Can-Tech) was established by brothers Brian and Peter McCall in 1992. The products that Can-Tech uses are always evolving with the shifting roofing industry. We only use quality material, and provide solid work - plus, our prices are always competitive. Whether you need an entirely new roof or just some repairs, the first step to teaming up with us is submitting a Quote Request Form.
Each project is important, and the quality of each installation is treated as if we own the home ourselves. We always strive to be polite, friendly, and respectful towards your property and yourself. We don't throw garbage around or speak harshly. Our goal is to keep your property as tidy as when we first started the project.

Services
Whether you need an entirely new roof or just some repairs, the first step to teaming up with us is submitting a Quote Request Form. Just like with any business, there are problems you want to avoid when it comes to hiring a roofing company. You thought you'd go the cheap route, but the company you hired didn't have proper insurance, WCB coverage, OR any sort of warranty.
While primarily used as barn roofs, they now come in such a high variety of styles and colours that they are now champions of the roofing industry. Since metal roofs are made up of larger pieces, high-intensity winds don't have as much grip. Metal roofs aren't combustible like some other materials, so rest easy knowing your roof won't burst into flames anytime soon.
They consist of a fiberglass mat in the middle of the shingle, which is then coated with waterproof asphalt and ceramic granules that protect against UV rays. They're great if you're looking for that classic-looking roof that can withstand wet weather. Fiberglass shingles are great at resisting wind & moisture.
If your home still has a cedar shake roof, it pains us to say that you're a wee bit behind the times. Although shakes can be the most expensive and they look great to begin with, the colour quickly fades. We live in a wet environment. According to an article on Current Results, the Abbotsford area gets the most rain throughout the year than anywhere else in Canada.
Anyone who installs this kind of roof has to have fire insurance, as it's a bit dangerous to apply without it. Because it has multiple layers that are welded together by an open-flame torch, the roof is completely sealed against water. Awesome for buildings here in the Fraser Valley, and for buildings that tend to have a lot of snow or water pile on top of them for most of the year.

Report
We recently bought our home and knew the roof needed some TLC. Shortly after getting quotes for a new roof, our roof started leaking in a big rainstorm. We called Brian who quickly came to our rescue and secured our roof. We were suppose to have the new roof installed within a couple weeks, but Brian pulled some strings and made it happen that weekend. He and his crew were very professional and polite. Brian was always quick to respond with any questions we had. He was affordable and the final bill was actually less than the original quote due to not needing as much trim cover as first anticipated
