I love this place. It's cute, locally owned, and the owners are very sweet and friendly. The food is amazing, fairly priced, and made with love. Anytime I feel like eating something comforting and delicious, I order food here. I enjoy my little chats with the owners. They're lovely! Once I was late, and I was informed that they were about to call me because they wanted to ensure that I got to eat the food fresh.
I have been going to this restaurant since they opened and absolutely love the sushi and the owners. Eat there at least once a week and always run into regulars; it's like family at Maki Sushi! Anyone I have ever introduced this restaurant to ALWAYS goes back continuously! It never fails. Maki sushi loyal customer forever!

In 2007, I decided to take my family on vacation to Kelowna, BC. As the plane touched down, we were simply captivated by Kelowna's natural beauty and cultural diversity. Although Montreal continues to hold a warm place in our hearts, we decided soon after our trip to make Kelowna our home. The only reason I gave 1 star less is because we got there at 7:20ish and ordered right away as I alrdy new what to order. They brought our coke but we had to wait for an hour for our food, around 8:35ish our food was served (coke was alrdy warm and less fuzzy) we just had to eat quick and leave cuz the closing was at 9.
I know its a small dine in but their food and customer service is amaIng thats why they have alot of sell so maybe they should bring more people to work for them so that everything would be perfect and fast

Hidden gem! I recently discovered this place and was very happy! Sometimes it's hard to find good veggie sushi (as I don't like any seafood), but theirs was the BEST! Fresh, great textures (great crunch to the rolls with tempura veg inside!) and flavors. The "VEGGIE DELUXE" (it has a soy paper wrapper) is my absolute favorite!! The "Kelowna maki" is also great, as well as their yam roll and yam avocado roll! Also, I always ask at sushi places if their miso has fish/oyster sauce in it (and unfortunately most places do), but theirs doesn't (they said it's actually vegan technically)! I was so excited

Welcoming atmosphere and delicious sushi at reasonable prices. Small spot, easy to miss the sign but often it’s these kind of smaller family run places that go the extra mile and care about what they do. My granddaughter and I came 15 min before closing and we were able to order and eat in after closing without feeling rushed. Very warm and friendly owners. Being new to Kelowna this is a restaurant I will definitely go back to.

Went there tonight to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Very nice experience.
The Hospitality: Came there at 8:30pm and still got everything I ordered even though they were gonna close at 9pm. We were welcomed with a genuine smile from the lady and the girl upon our arrival. Very nice and homey place and the family that works there is so nice to us. This is my second time visiting them and yet they remember me and my girlfriend from 3 months ago.
The food: we ordered Chicken Karaage, sushi, beef Don, Coconut chicken curry. Our food took a very reasonable time to prepare (only 10-15 mins) and

New go-to sushi place! All the food I have tried here has exceeded my expectations. It was delicious. I have eaten in the little restaurant and gotten takeout and delivery. On my first visit (dining in) I was impressed by the large menu and very very good prices. The owners are so kind and chatted lots with me and my dad during our experience. Love supporting local businesses and this place will be getting lots of business from me and all my friends from now on!

This little gem is tucked away to one side in the shadow of a beauty supply shop at the strip mall and if it wasn't for checking on the app we would have certainly missed it!
A mom & pop place and the couple running it are very friendly. Small place with 4 booths and few table & chairs but it appeared clean and one can tell decor was not a high priority!
The food was very fresh and moderately priced. Kiddo & I had the Maki combo with a couple of extra rolls ; Emperor roll, salmon maki, california roll, negitoro roll, kappa roll and dynamite roll. I also ordered prawn tempura

The food is a little better than average but the service is terrible.
My sister, her roommate and I came and waited 45 minutes for food. The restaurant was not even close to being busy. But on the flip side, they did have a lot of togo orders. The food came out and we were starving. Like ready to pass out starving. You'd think being that hungry would make food taste good, but it was just meh.
I had the chicken donburi. I had a craving for chicken and carbs thus.... But seriously, it was nothing absolutely fricking fantastic and to die for. Maybe I was just in a terrible mood after waiting
