Our Story Report

In 1987, the Mekong restaurant opened in a small space overlooking "The Sails". They had a tremendous opening year serving Vietnamese food to summer tourists that flocked into town. However, local Okanagan residents were not adopting quickly to this foreign exotic flavor. They knew they needed to cater more to the local crowd.

Fresh, made to order, and delivered quickly! We offer delivery 7 days per week. Most days we can provide delivery from open until close, and everyday from 4:30pm to close. Food Allergies & Restrictions: Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or special considerations, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We ordered chinese from here last night for a buisness meeting for Circus Clouds and it was hands down the best chinese food we have ever ordered. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Wow, does Mekong ever know how to ruin ananniversary dinner! Ordered the deluxe dinner for 2 and it was a disaster! They substituted the prawns in a noodle nest for plain vegetables, the beef in black bean sause was too salty too eat and the chow mein was the worst we ever tasted! NEVER AGAIN!!!

This is my go to place for Chinese food! The family that owns Mekong has always been lovely every time we’ve gone. I’ve only been getting take out (since Covid) but every time I order they’ve gotten the order correct and it’s always delicious!!!

Delicious gluten-free entrees! My husband (who's not celiac) prefers the GF menu items! I am celiac and have eaten here 3 times; it's become our favourite take-out restaurant! Great service. The Beef and broccoli is so tender and flavourful, and you have to try the Szechuan ginger beef with house made sauce! My husband also loves the lemon chicken (not GF).

Has been a favourite restaurant of mine in the past and I've been going for more than 25 years but the recent changes made by new management has completely ruined the experience. Have been there twice in last month and both were horrible experiences. I won't be back.
