Welcome to Lunsky Optometry, a family run optometric practice spanning three generations of service in the Bathurst St and College St area. Our staff consists of Doctors Eric and Marvin Lunsky (Retired) and our Office Manager Geni. We have been providing quality eyeglasses at affordable prices to our patients for over 80 years.
Our dispensary has a wide range of frame styles, including many designer and magnetic clip-on frames. We also have a huge selection of "retro" frames, some of which date back over 70 years. We co-manage our patients who get LASIK refractive surgery, both pre and post-operatively. We also provide referrals for patients requiring cataract surgery and continue their care post-surgically.

I hadn't been for a check-up in years so I tried out this place. The doctor was very kind, very efficient, and professional. With every machine, he explained the process and gave me clear and concise directions. But, this place is quirky. It's been open since 1933, and it's never changed - seriously. The receptionist told me she only got internet about 3 years ago, haha. They've also got frames on premises - from the latest 1950s styles to the newest frames. They've got everything. They're also a pretty reasonable price. I don't have insurance so the price was

There's been a Dr. Lunsky working on the premises for 85 years.
The current Dr. Lunsky is Eric and he is thorough, professional, un-pretentious, honest and informative. His place is 'unpolished' and his state-of-the-art equipment looks out of place in it. There's something genuine and charming about it all.
The office is a time-capsule from an era of linoleum tiles and modest wood panelling. The administrative assistant speaks Portuguese (as well as English).
The cluttered shop has never retired a line as far as I can tell, so you can shop vintage or contemporary frames
