We know insurance paperwork is overwhelming and can get in the way of using the benefits your vision insurance offers. Let's make it easy for you to take care of your eyes- starting with your yearly eye exam to choosing the perfect pair of eyeglasses, sunglasses or contacts lenses, all the way through getting your claim paid.
High-index eyeglass lenses are the right choice if you want thinner, lighter lenses and eyeglasses that are as attractive and comfortable as possible. Thinner, lighter high-index lenses are especially recommended if you have a strong eyeglass prescription for nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism.
At Cristall Opticians Toronto we offer lenses that are treated front and back with a clear, scratch-resistant coating. This coating makes the lens much harder and is, therefore, more resistant to scratching. Most scratches develop from dropping your glasses or cleaning them with a paper towel. Since scratch-resistant coatings are sometimes optional, make sure you ask to for it.
If you can't get to us, we will come to you. This service is limited to those patients who have common spaces in their residences. For the safety of our opticians, we cannot enter a private residence of someone we do not know. Exceptions to this rule may be made in some circumstances, like senior citizen residents, offices and hospitals.

Amazingly friendly, extremely knowledgeable, top of the line eye wear, modern and current styles, fantastic prices, never had any issues or complaints, and it's ALWAYS service with a friendly smile and sincere approach to customer service! Have been going to Cristall nearly twenty years and the service is unparalleled. I get so many compliments on my frames and I always refer them back here (and I've noticed that the styles recommended to me by staff are usually a good year or two ahead of any major trend). Dedicated, responsive team, and having the eye exams available onsite make it so easy. Thanks for all the help you have given me over the years - can't wait for my newest frames!

I have been a patient for years and have never been dissatisfied or disappointed. I admire the variety of lenses and especially the speed at which I get my prescription lenses back with the frames. Allison especially makes sure they always fit right and make sure as well that I always leave happy!!! And always have been. Love the ambiance and located in a great area. I just purchased a pair of prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses at Cristall Opticians; I had previously bought two other pairs of glasses from them. This is my go-to place for glasses. Not only do they have an incredible and unique selection of glasses in different price ranges to choose from, but the service is fantastic! I create a lot of wear and tear on my glasses, always putting them up on top of my head when I don't need to wear them. The women at Cristall always repair and clean my glasses whenever I am there. They always give me their honest opinions about how glasses look on

Shopping at Cristall is a real pleasure. Alison, Gina and Cindy are a great team. They're knowledgeable, friendly, professional and patient. The service and selection are excellent and the in-house optometrist is a real convenience. My family and I have come to Cristall for years for all our glasses and sunglasses. I've also come in for lens replacement, including new ones for a couple pairs I bought online. They even remember everything we've bought!

My eyes doctor recommended that I get optical sunglasses to reduce the amount of ultraviolet light reaching my eyes. My cousin recommended this shop. She's been a customer for years.
I ordered the optical sunglasses with all the available extras. I was worried that they will be too dark for driving. When I got them, they were just perfect. I can see very well, only a little bit darker then with my transparent eyeglasses. I use them on sunny days, including in the winter.
I'm impressed with the professionalism of both ladies at this Cristall Opticians location. . Glasses were delivered
