This hotel has an amazing view it truly does. But the staff you get is 50/50, for the amount of money you will pay for the room you will not get a microwave or a coffee maker like in most places because they think it is safer for everyone to use the same microwave and coffee maker in the lobby. And even though you have a room here you still need to pay 35 a night for parking. It does not make sense to your wallet the view makes up for it but only a very little bit I would not recommend for a family. Due to shortage of in room amenities.

This hotel was very disappointing right from the moment I walked in. I had my mask on but but not over my nose as I have a hard time breathing..the guy behind the desk who was wearing a mask and was behind the plexiglass wall barks at me as I'm approaching "put your mask on".... what a first impression turned me off immediately. Then I waited my turn and he signals me to come up..trying to be all friendly..turned me off completely. I bought the dinner for 2 at the Remington through the hotel for$60...Remington is touted as a steak and seafood restaurant. When we got there the

To start off this review I would like to say that the Hotel lobby was very nice. And all the employees were very kind and respectful when we came in to the hotel. However, when entering the room we found out that many of the outlets in the suite did not work. I also requested a Jacuzzi suite and come to find out once the tub was filled with water and I sat down in the Jacuzzi that none of the jets work. The only time during the day where the lighting was perfect was in the morning from around 9 o'clock to about 2 o'clock in the afternoon after that it becomes very dark and there are no

The staff are so unprofessional and I felt hotel took advantages of me. It was so important for me to get the falls view only and only because I had a my brother coming from another continent with me that this visit was his only Niagara visit in his life and I wanted to give him this special moment to sleep while looking to fall from window hotel :(
I paid extra when I was booking through booking.com to get the room with view and the photos on the booking.com was breathtaking. My aunt got another room without view when she booked separately.
When I checked in, the Indian guy who was helping us

Paid over $200 for a room with a view of the falls, ended up getting a very good view of trees and a parking lot. Speaking of parking lot, you have to pay $35 for parking in a lot that was full. Also wifi kept cutting out (first world problems) but paying $200+ for a room without a view and no parking, at least have decent wifi.

We reserved 2 rooms, 1 traditional and 1 premier room with a falls view. All I can say is that the traditional is a better room to pick than the crappy premier room but ADITI insisted that their premier rooms are way better than their traditional rooms. She needs her EYES checked ASAP, She was even surprised to see that her hotel has a fire place on one of their rooms...SHAME ON YOU! Calls her room attendant and shows the picture and asks her if they have this room with a fireplace. Parking is always full!!! Stay somewhere else other than Oakes Hotel with ADITI.

I had a refreshing stay here. The first thing I noticed and like about this hotel was the view from my room. It was breathtaking. Niagara Falls was my view. It was peaceful; the mist looked like it was moving in slow motion. Considering I could only see the falls and not hear it, that was what made it so peaceful.

I have been to Niagara Falls multiple times; however, I have not spent the night there before. I have always left before sundown. Staying here and being able to witness the light show was magnificent. It was so relaxing to be able to look out the window at night and see all of Niagara

We booked a Fallsview room and were not disappointed with our decision. We were in room 1018. We walked into our room which had hardwood floors, a bathtub that was deep with a jet sauna system. Our room was bright, clean, huge with large window panes that provided excellent views of the horseshoe, bridal, and American falls. We were able to watch the fireworks display each night from our room, and enjoy the falls without having to leave if we decided too. We fell asleep and woke up to the most amazing views. They also provided falls view on an observation floor (14th floor), for those without

This place is an absolute RIP off.
After make a reservation on Booking.com, I found another hotel I liked better. I proceeded to cancel the reservation 10 minutes after being placed. I get my credit card statement and see I am being build for a room I did not use. That is outrageous. Will not even listen.
DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

We booked 2 rooms for a family trip for 6. A large falls view suite on a top floor with a waterfall view overlooking the horseshoe and the other with a city view. The falls view without a doubt was magnificent but I need to stress that only the view was magnificent. The beds and sofa could use a fluff and the bathroom a little update.

As for the room with a city view, it was disappointing. The room is supposedly on the 2nd floor of the hotel. However, once you get off the 2nd floor elevators and make a left, you trek a long way to get to your room. At some point you are certain you are no longer

We arrived at our hotel at 2:30am after a long 9 hour drive. We paid over $700 for 2 nights for a Suite with the Falls view. The view did not disappoint -- it was actually quite breathtaking, but the room awful. I could've gotten those views at another hotel nearby!!

We arrived and our A/C didn't work. The room was about 85 degrees and we were just sweating - called downstairs only to be informed that they couldn't do anything until 8am and they couldn't move us to another room since they were sold out for the evening. We literally didn't sleep from tossing and turning

The front desk is very rude and discriminating.
They didn't tell you that they will have a receipt slip into your room in the morning, we went to ask and she doesn't even want to listen, just looked at her computer, very disappointing.

Centrally located, checked in an hour early with no issues, very friendly concierge, and exceptional mind-blowing view of horse shoe falls, American falls, and bridal veil falls. You have to pay extra for a falls-view room, which are on the higher floors (we were on 12), but it's completely worth it. Also, we lucked out and were able to watch a fireworks show over the falls at night from our room - this in addition to the light show!

It's also within walking distance to the falls, the casino, and most other restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately they do charge for parking, but it seems

Hotel is clean and affordable. Mechanics need updating rooms are really small. Access to attractions are easy. Cheer competition going on the weekend we were here and staff handle fantastic!
Remember to bring plug strip to charge any electronics. We had 4 phones to charge and had to unplug lights in order to do so - making our room fairly dark. No 'extra' outlets in room.
Pool nice. No frills hotel.
At check in I asked about any specials- breakfast, dinner vouchers etc. staff said nope not with your reservations... another family had to tell us about options for breakfast lunch

Not bad at all. Everyone was super friendly, employees and fellow patrons alike. We spent the night in the falls view king sweet. The room was clean, if a bit dated. The view was spectacular! Well worth the upgrade for the view and highly recommended.

There was a downside that there was a giant coffee stain on our sheet skirt side. It didn't affect our sleeping and appeared to be missed when they did the wash last time since our sheets smelled clean. Speaking of the bed it was firm which I usually like but it was firm to the point where it felt like sleeping on a floor.

Other than that

My boyfriend and I booked a fallsview room and as we didn't book it way in advance it was pretty expensive. While reading this I know you're probably wondering, "All fallsview rooms are always expensive." Not all the time, especially if you book the room way in advance. Anyways, upon arrival we had to wait for such a long time just to get our room because apparently it wasn't "ready." We waited almost 2 hours just to get the fallsview room that we originally booked.

After getting our room key card, we walk into the room and we were surprised at how huge the

The good: The view, friendly staff, proximity to everything, Applebee's breakfast, comfortable beds, you can actually hear the falls!!!. Did I say the VIEW!!!!!!!. What an amazing view. It was cold when we were here and we got to have a front row seat at the falls from our room in all lights. How relaxing!

The bad: our toilet overflowed (at least they took care of it but I didn't want to step on the bathroom floor after that), the dated furniture, weird location of light switches, thin walls, sloped room ( the drawers in the dresser kept opening up ), rooms very small, no blanket on

Stayed for two nights beginning of November. Generally the area was very quiet because it was outside the season.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean and I had a great view to the Niagara Falls. If I would come back again, I would ask for a room on a higher floor because of the great view.
Wellness area is acceptable. A nice small pool and a jacuzzi. The sauna did not work during my stay.
The hotel is in middle of all entertainment places. The Casino is around 5 minutes away (walking). The Niagara Falls Welcome Center around 10-15 minutes.

My partner chose this hotel for a last-minute Spring getaway at the very beginning of May. I had been to Niagara Falls plenty of times before but had never stayed overnight in a hotel, so I was looking forward to the experience. We tried to get a room at the Embassy Suites, but since we were booking so late, a falls-view room with a jacuzzi tub was topping $500/night, and since we were just doing this as a pass-through mini-vacay on the drive back from Toronto, we didn't feel like paying for an overpriced, last-minute room, so to the Oakes we went.

I could tell upon arrival that this hotel

I was visiting from Oregon and bought this hotel online as a package through wag jag. The heading said falls view so I figured I would be getting a room with a view. I was given a room that was a courtyard view, that was looking at the parking lot. When I called to ask I was told that's what I bought and I could pay $80 more to upgrade and since it was what I came to see I upgraded. The new view was spectacular.

Now the room was nice but the curtains were missing a panel so in the morning it was very bright at 6am so I got up to shower. When I turned the shower on it sounded like a jack hammer
