The customer service at the desk by Chris was amazing! He was very clear with explaining what my check engine light was on for. I got my battery checked and it needed to be replaced. Chris was able to get me a battery quickly and got me in very fast to get it replaced. As a woman some places try to rip you off and I felt he was very upfront and honest with me which I appreciated.I will definitely be going back there when other car issues come up!

Dropped a Catalic converter to do Wilding repear a day before he sepouse to contact me before and work done I asked home early morning to contact me but he did not until before he close asking ahundered of dollars for a job the not worth more a 30$ and at the end he destroyed my. Catalyic converter and refused to take responsibility the worst michanic Shope in Ottawa don't recommend it. At all.

Made an appointment a week and a half ago, dropped my car off before 6am this morning, only to get a call at 3:30pm saying they haven't even touched my car today!!!!! I'm glad I wasted a vacation day at work and the time it took me so they could have my car sit there all day. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed and all I got asked was "when can you bring it back?". Terrible terrible customer service

Went in for a minor repair, which they were able to fix on the spot, no waiting, even though they were busy and all bays were full. Personable, professional and efficient…both on the phone and in person. Best part…free of charge. Will definitely be using their services again. Made my day!

Guilbault is keeping the family name high up by doing a great job. They are modest and fair-priced. They won't treat you like you don't know about cars so let's change your car’s engine, this and that. If it is a 40 dollar job you will be billed 40$.
My car was fixed on time. I was given a prior appointment to drop the car. I was informed of the issues and fixes overall during the repairs. I was not overbilled.

Oil change and inspection service was good and reasonably priced. But, brought in new battery to be installed as I didn't have metric nut driver to loosen hold down. Was charged 37.50 to loosen 2 nuts and 1 bolt, clean post clamps and reassemble. Could have bought complete metric nut driver set for that price.

Went to Guilbault Automotive on 7 Carbrooke in Kanata today (3/17/2021) for a safety check on my 40,000 Original Klms 2007 Rust Free Pontiac Torrent Sport Suv from Vancouver which I purchased recently. They were trying to tell me that I needed 4 new tires , 4 new Rotors, Brake Pads, (Wiper Blades that had been recently replaced) (Rotors… that had little surface rust on ridges on Brake Rotors from storage which is normal because of age, & my tires are still brand new & no sign of any wair what so ever! This vehicle had been garaged & Oiled all of the time with only 40,000 Original

The mechanics are very thorough and make it their mission to fix issues without having to order new parts (when it's possible), saving us many hundreds of dollars. Guilbault auto have been fantastic. Very friendly .. honest ... people. I deal with Dave most of the time and I have been trusing him with my car since I got it two years ago. I rarely have problems with my car. Dont over charge. And won't fix anything unnecessary. I recommend them any day! Thank you guilbault automotive for your great service!
