I've been looking for a local auto repair shop for the past three years. I had this shop give my vehicle a thorough going over, with an extensive list of concerns to start from. When I picked the car up today, I was told I would likely notice a difference, which was an understatement. I was pleased with all aspects of my experience with this shop, and will happily continue to deal with them. My search is over.

Doug's Auto Repair is perhaps the best auto repair shop experience I've ever had - honest, knowledgeable and, going above and beyond. I had to go to Ottawa from Toronto to help my elderly father for a couple of days. My engine light came and I was concerned that it was unsafe to go back to Toronto. Tom made time for me to bring my car in at the last minute since I wasn't in town long, diagnosed it quickly and honestly and let me know what needed fixed and what wasn't critical. All with professionalism, friendliness, and fairness. I will be recommending Tom and Doug's Auto Repair to all my Ottawa

When I was shopping for my first car, I didn't really know what to expect. I spoke to Tom and Pepper about a used car pre-purchase inspection and they gave me free advice while I was shopping before I even stepped in the shop and gave them any business. They were extremely helpful and friendly.
I ended up going forward with the safety and found them to be very thorough! They checked everything they needed for the safety and even did a generic service/maintenance per my request - but didn't charge me for it. They just let me know what they found and never tried to upsell me anything.

I had my car serviced at Doug's for the first time this week and I was really happy with the whole experience. Communication was great. No pressure to get extra work done, just informed of the option. Prices were fair. And the car was ready when they said it would be. I used to go to another garage that was nearer my office, but with being home all the time I needed a new and closer alternative. I'm really happy to have found Doug's -- highly recommended!

I went to Doug’s for the first time yesterday. They were very professional and took the time to really get to the bottom of what was up with my car. They were very patient with me and took the time to explain some potential issues, upcoming issues, and in some cases ....:were honest what was actually not a issue at all! They are extremely experienced and honest. Hard to find in a mechanic these days. I’ll not hesitate to go back to them for any further maintenance or car troubles.
