This store has a beautiful collection of unique, hand made jewelry. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff are super friendly and helpful. Been a few times over the years and recently went in to get a quote for a custom piece from a designer who was available on site. They are honest, informative and passionate about their work. I can't say enough good things about this place. Will go out of my way for my next visit!

Such an amazing store! Everyone I talked to was so helpful while I was trying to pick out an engagement ring (and learn about rings on the fly too!). I ended up working with Emily Gill to custom design the ring, she was absolutely amazing to work with and me and my Fiancée both love the ring so much! Such a great experience to go through the design process with Emily, from picking out the right diamond to customizing the 3D models to have the ring just right - it’s perfect!

My partner and I went into Made you Look last weekend to look at engagement rings together. I have been following the shop on social media for a while and was drawn to the welcoming atmosphere and the chance to check out multiple different artists. Peter was the one helping us at the counter and he was 10/10! He knew his geology and gemology so well and shared info with us that added to our experience rather than overwhelmed us! I recently brought in two bracelets for repair and I'm very happy with the results.
The charm broke off the gold piece and needed to be soldered back on. The green and silver piece needed more love, including replacing missing a stone and shortening the length. I asked if there was an affordable and durable option for the replacement and the goldsmith recommended a beautiful Green Onyx. I absolutely love it!

I broke my jade bracelet in three spots and wanted a secure and sturdy way to repair it while also adding to the overall look. Made You Look connected me with Peter van Walraven, a goldsmith who works with them. He was not only able to fix my bracelet, he also added so much beauty to it as well. I had him incorporate a skeleton flower motif to the gold cuffs that reinforced the breaks. Needless to say, he delivered and the craftsmanship is amazing. I was recommended to the store by a friend when I was looking to commission a piece of jewellery for a friend. I messaged the store and someone responded back within a day or so. I told her what I was looking for and was connected to a Jewelry Artist, Liane Vaz, who could make what I require immediately. An email introduced us to each other and the back and forth after with photos and what I require commenced for a few days. The concept of the store is good. They feature local jewellers who can custom create a variety of jewelry. Unfortunately they aren't selective with the jewellers they partner with. My brother came in and was referred to work with a designer for an engagement ring for his fiance, and half way through the long process (they designed the ring, paid a deposit), she was no longer with Made you Look she "moved on to other things". no where to be found.

This is a most delightful Jewelry Shop. I brought in a few pieces of costume jewelry to be repaired. The Staff was so helpful and patient, they paid extra attention to each piece and how to make a solid and functional repair, while keeping the esthetic of each piece. I highly recommend Made You Look Jewelry, the selection of fabulous hand made jewelry from various artists is astounding! Worth a trip to Parkdale to browse the beautiful store, have lunch at The Drake Hotel and explore this interesting area!

I have a small 24 karat pendant I needed engraved via laser, so I did my research before settling down here. Some other places quoted me about the same price but anywhere from 8 to 15 business days to get the work done (which means they were most likely outsourcing). Made You Look has a laser machine on site and it took about 5 minutes to get exactly what I wanted.
I'll definitely come back.

This shop is fantastic. I've been to Made You Look several times for repairs (some I wasn't even sure would be possible!). They are quick, fairly priced, and always lovely to interact with.
In addition to fantastic repairs they carry a stock of some amazing jewelry designers!

I took in my grandmother's ring to be resized. I knew it would be a bit complicated due to the way the jade was set into the gold. Uli resized it flawlessly but because of an emergency he had to leave the country. Instead of a few days to resize my ring it took almost 2 months. I was getting anxious as my grandmother had also just gotten really… sick so it was important that I got my ring back. The store staff and owner were so thoughtful they decided to not charge me due to the delay. I am so grateful of their service and thoughtfulness.

Awful experience. If anyone is thinking about purchasing from these guys online or overseas... avoid it like the plague.
My ring took almost a year and was delivered wobbly, with no stamp and no appraisal as promised on the website.
Delivering to another country with no appraisal caused issues at customs as they couldn't tell the value of the ring… and didn't know what tax to charge. We had to pay to send it back to Canada and then back to Australia.
When we asked for an appraisal as promised on their website with rings over $1000, they simply said: "your ring has caused us too much hassle

Took a very important ring to get cleaned and touched up. From the second I walked in the door I knew I had picked the right place. The staff was friendly, patient and walked me through every step. They kept me up to date with any additional work and costs. Overall, it was very affordable and I couldn't have asked for a better result. I was looking around for a place that did custom pieces and found this little gem of a place. I sent an email about what I wanted and was quickly directed to one of their jewelers. I ended up working with Emily on a custom pendant and she was very quick with emails, clear, thorough, and accommodating. The end result was gorgeous and more than I hoped for! Anyway, after I was buzzed in, I browsed a bit while the ladies were talking to each other about some store procedure. It was fine, I just took in the lovely works of art. Apparently, the store represents about 100 artists by selling their jewelry.
