We moved to Collingwood as my 4 children were all growing older and moving on with their own lives, and the time just seemed right! My background is in Education, having been a teacher in a private school in Richmond Hill, Ontario, for 15 years, and the owner of an Oxford Learning Centre for 5 years.
After a decade as sales manager for a Toronto advertising firm I felt it was time for a change. I had personally been investing in real estate for several years and had often considered getting licensed so that I could begin selling real estate as a profession. In May of 1989, I obtained my real estate license to practice in the Province of Ontario.
I come from a family with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Real Estate industry. Before gaining my Real Estate licence I spent seven years serving in the Canadian Army as an Infantryman. I'm passionate about my Country, my community and serving those within that community.
My military experience coupled with a business related education and previous sales/customer service experience gives me the expertise and mindset required to provide professional, conscientious and knowledgeable service to my clients.I bring the sense of service and dedication found daily in the military to my business and to each and every one of my clients.

Emma, our realtor, was fantastic. She gave us good advise on all the things we needed to do to put the condo up for sale. She gave us updates on all showings plus feedback. Since we live a distance away, Emma took care of any issues that came up.
Emma and her team are very professional and work hard to promote the sale.

Craig Davies was amazing to deal with. Very professional! Helped us find a very short term rental a year ago during COVID as we were waiting our home to be built. We used him again when we were selling another property we have had for a while. Too many agents these days just want to get the listing and then wait for the house sell in this hot market. Craig put the work in before, during and after the sale (he even personally helped me move some furniture out of the house. Never had an agent do that for me). Would highly recommend him.

When you received bad news regarding the health of your 91-year-old mother and you know she has numerous things to take care of before her health deteriorates even more, I contacted Emma Baker because of her reputation to help me look after the sale of my mom’s condo.
