Purchased my Breitling Navitimer watch from Gemoro in January 2020 in July i noticed that one side of the band was losing color. I brought the watch in 6 times and each time i was told the manager wasn’t available. I finally got the manager (or someone that would help, had to say i wasn’t leaving until someone helped me with the issue) they took my info and said they would get back to me. Four days later I received an email from them stating that the watch band color fading was basically my fault and that they would give me 20% off a new band. Purchased my second watch from GemOro through Dave, very happy with it. I went to size my first watch 6-8 months ago and Dave helped me with it, at that time, I expressed my interest in my second watch and Dave took my details and promptly called me when it arrived. Dave is very professional and knowledgeable about watches and great to deal with. They have a very good collection of Tudor, Omega, Zenith and Girard Perregaux. Definitely the BEST place to shop in Edmonton.

I purchased a beautiful set of Gucci earrings, fresh from Italy, from Gemoro (WEM), my salesperson Yana was informative (I had many questions on the different jewellery items that I was looking at, such as their Care/ maintenance) and she had a warm and pleasant manner that I truly appreciated. I will definitely be returning for my next Jewellery item !!

Sent my watch in to get serviced and to add a link and after 1150$ spent on this service they refused to give me my old watch link back. all I asked for was a service and add a link and the refused to give me my link back which is from a rare breitling hercules band. would never deal with these people again.

Awful. Went with my mom today because she needed to change the batteries on her Omega and also look for another one to add to her collection/give as a gift to my dad.

Upon entering a lady said the standard "hello how can I help you?" but in a very rude manner. I told her I'm just going to my mom and she stared at me like in a way that said how DARE I step into the store. Really spoiled my mood for the rest of the night!

Gave it one star as I could not go any lower, service is terrible. Took two watches in to be serviced firstly a professional divers watch, I explained that if it needed to sent away for special servicing this was acceptable. The second was a Raymond Weil lady's gold watch with a faulty winder and miss-aligned hands.
The divers watch was ready first, and I was told that they couldn't get seals for this watch any longer and that the watchmaker had sealed the case with silicon and should not be used below 5 meters !!
Now to the Raymond Weil, it took longer for them to fix this watch, a

Terrible service! You walk in and they judge whether you can afford their watches. Asked to go in to their room of rolexes, GP, UN and IWC and they were surprised! Asked about a watch and didn't even offer if I wanted to see it or try it on. Will never buy there. Luxuries are impulse buying and they missed their chance.

Go here if you want to feel like a lesser person. Seriously. I've only been here once and it was just a few days ago. I haven't previously been here because I know they sell all the higher end brands, therefore they're expensive. I always got my jewellery or watches at less pretentious, yet more welcoming places than this. Now I know for sure because of this one visit.

They will most likely delete this, but be warned... I went to Gemoro yesterday and bought a ring that original price they stated was 2298.00 and on sale for under 1000.00 and they claimed the diamond was real cause when I asked for a certificate they stated to me that they will guarantee that it is on my receipt. So I bought it and then I thought I… live out of town I am going to have this checked. I went into another jewelry store and they stated not real or tester is not working. I went to two more jewelry stores and same result. I went back and got my money back. To everyone who bought

I had a great experience purchasing my first watch at Gemoro. The service was great and they had a ton of selection. My salesman Hoshyon was very knowledgable and really influenced my decision to buy at Gemoro rather than online. I look forward to purchasing from him again:)

I would stay away from here, I love watches and I always look. I love Zenith Watches and I actually ended up buying one, but not here. They are very judgemental and service is horrible. To be fair, it really depends on whom you get, I had one guy that was ok and he seemed nice and didn't mind me looking and trying on a few time pieces but the one lady always had some comment about ones I wanted to try on like "Are you sure you want to see that one, it's over 10K". I have had two problems in dealing with this company. I needed a battery replaced in two watches at different times and both times there was problems. First problem was they scratched the backing and then claimed it was not them. They said I would have to come back another day to pick it up after they tried to remove the deep scratch. They did not refund any amount for the inconvenience. Second problem was also a battery change and they ended up getting debris between the crystal and face. Again they corrected the problem. As it turns out I need to revise my review. Is there a way to give ZERO stars? After reviewing the facts, Gemoro sold my wife a discontinued model of watch, that they did not disclose, at full price simply to take advantage of trusting consumer. They mis represent the details and them when it was given to me, it had a manufacturers flaw as well. When we took it back to complain, they told us their policy was exchange or store credit only. They assured my wife there would be no issues if I didn't like the watch, they would take care of her, this is not the case. They have fed us an abundance

I have bought several watches for both myself and my wife. As well as jewelry for my wife. This review is solely on watches :
Selection - 5 stars. This is the place to go in Edmonton for a higher end watch. The only brand they need to carry is Hublot.
Service - 3 stars. Not the most inviting atmosphere but you will get your gratuitous "hello" as they analyze your spending amount in their head. I have a regular sales person I deal with so my view of the quality of service is good. But I will say it is high pressure sales. But for me, I could care less as I will buy something only

I really hesitated to visit this store, based on the relatively high number of filtered one-star reviews, and also because I was told not to shop here by a trusted co-worker. However, as stated by other reviewers, Gemoro has the monopoly in Edmonton for a number of high-end brands, and when my fiancee and I wanted to purchase a Mont Blanc pen as a gift, Gemoro was our only local option.

My boyfriend, all well intentioned and not really 'attuned' to sleazy places like I am, made the misfortune of going into the Gemoro store in the basement at West Edmonton Mall. He was surprising me with a Gucci watch I admired months earlier at Birks. He ended up buying the wrong one, but presented it to me in their house brand cheezier than cheezeball gold and white dollar store wrapping with a miserly little gold bow on top. He took it back and ordered the right one. They were supposed to call me and tell me how long it would take

I have had mixed experiences here, some of the sales people are fairly knowledgable and helpful (some know next to nothing about the products however), but on the whole they are quite rude and snotty, and they clearly do ignore potential customers based on their appearance.

Worse than this though is their after-sales service, they tried to charge me $75 'shipping' for in-warranty service on an Omega watch that I purchased there. When I phoned Omega Toronto's customer service they sounded quite shocked at this.

This is a high end place and unfortunately like 'pretty woman', I was ignored based on my appearance. And not because I look like a manish looking street walker, but a sandle wearing man in very casual atire.

The ladies in thier expensive clothes took my watch without a second glance and told me come back in an hour. Now my watch may be a bit complex and filled with Helium, but an hour seems a bit much. They told me they would call if it was done earlier.

After an hour I came back and was ignored some more. I finally found the technician who said it was done a while ago and proceeded

I had to stop here one day and get an appraisal done. It was recommended to me by a family member so I figured I would check it out.

They were able to take my piece right away and did what they had to do for about half an hour while I looked in nearby stores.

When I came back, the gentleman explained everything to me and even showed me the details that he focused on in his appraisal. This was really helpful because I had no idea what to look for before he told me.

They have me a certificate of worth and I was on my way! It was a really good experience and I would recommend this place
