I am fairly new to Nanaimo and have struggled with finding a hairdresser that I like and really listens to what i want. I am so pleased I ended up giving Salon D a try. Gabby is my stylist and she is awsome!!! She listened to what I wanted and I love the way it turned out, the best haircut I've had in a really long time!!!!!!
Aside from the awsome cut and color I got the atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Thank you Gabby and Salon D 🙂🙂🙂❤

I was very impressed with the stylist Gabby, she truly listened to what I wanted and delivered. She knows her stuff and was so considerate and professional. I was also pleased with the final bill which was less than anticipated. I will definitely be going back and will be recommending this salon to friends and family.

In the beginning. Great friendly service. Now, rushed, hard to get in. Over a month no one contacted me back to even book something for down the road. Than when I tried to discuss on their page. The owner deleted , and blocked me from putting a review on their Facebook page. Controlling the reviews . They fire some of their best employees with no notice and no regard for the clients. It’s now a stressful environment. Not a few hours of pampering.

I have been a client of Jen's for a few years now, and she is the best! I am useless when it comes to styling hair, and she is able to give me cuts that work for me. She never "upsells" me with colour, either. I have recently transitioned to silver, and she has been nothing but supportive along the way. Jen's wry sense of humour makes the Salon D experience even better.
