Services
We offer a wide range of services, including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your dogs and cats so that they can live a longer, happier life. One of the best things you can do for your pet to keep them healthy is to bring them for regular exams. Protect your pets against problems before they start; below is a list of our pet services.
Our veterinary team are not only experts at taking care of small animals, but bigger animals too! We love our equine patients and are happy to serve their veterinary needs. We offer a wide range of services specifically for horses, including diagnosis, treatment, veterinary exams, equine laser therapy and dentistry.
Since 1995, our clinic has been dedicated to ensuring the health of farm and large animals. We treated these types of patients exclusively before expanding our care to include small, companion animals. With over 25 years of experience, you can trust our team to provide excellent care for your farm and large animals.
Rabbits are great companion animals, sometimes living up to 12-years-old. Our veterinary team wants to help your rabbit enjoy as many birthdays with you as possible, which includes looking after their overall health. We can provide recommendations for ways to take care of your rabbit's needs. If you have questions about how you can prioritize your pet's health, please connect with us at 403.335.3519.
For over 25 years, our team has been collaborating with other practices in the region to provide the best care for all our patients. We sometimes seek their expertise, and send complex cases to them for a second opinion. In the same way, we often care for patents sent to us by their primary veterinarian, especially with regards to our expertise in equine, farm/large animal and rabbit treatments.

I've been visiting Didsbury Veterinary Services since I first adopted my cats back in 2017. I have always had a good experience using their services. Most recently before Christmas, my cat became ill and Didsbury got me an appointment ASAP. I met with the veterinarian and we spoke for awhile and she listened to all my concerns and answered any questions I had, I did not feel rushed once. Together we came up with a plan on how to treat my cat, which was as simple as changing her food. And my cat has been great ever since. I have heard horror stories from friends about the cost of their emergency

I am always pleased with the care and time Dr. Janice gives to my pets and myself. She is a wonderful vet. The staff is always friendly and does their very best to get us in same day when episodic care is needed and very accomodating when booking a routine visit.

We ate beyond grateful for Dr Shane Bosomworth answering our call @2am,meeting at the clinic at 8:00 am to thoroughly investigate what was happening to our dog, he was seriously I'll and we were referred to Animal Emergency Hospital in Red Deer where, he underwent surgery to remove a mass and a bowel resection,
DR Shane Bosomworth was so compassionate and if it wasn't for his professionalism and connecting us with Dr Shouten in Red Deer,we probably would have lost him.
Zeekie is doing absolutely amazing ,what a relief we didn't lose him.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF,highly recommended

I have utilized several veterinary clinics over my 37 years. I have had pets since I was 8 years old. We have had good service, great service, atrocious service where one of my pups almost died as a result, than we experienced Didsbury Veterinary Services (DSV).
While I can not say how they are with my animal as I am obviously not in there with them while they are treating them, but how they treated me in my opinion, translates to the animal. They were first, friendly and accommodating which is a rarity these days. I was helped as a team rather than just 1 single person discussing anything with
