Direct billing is one way that we make our dental services accessible. Instead of paying out of pocket, to be reimbursed later by your health insurance company, we can bill them directly in almost every case.

We are located at the intersection of 52nd Street NE and Memorial Drive E, in the strip mall behind the Burger King. We are located near the Marlborough LRT / CTrain station, accessible most easily by bus routes 42, 67 or 127. The walk is approx. 25 minutes. Head east on Marlborough Dr NE toward 38 St NE and walk for 1.5 km, then turn right onto 52 St NE and walk for 550m.

Can't say enough good things! My 'old' dentist wasn't seeing patients, not even on an emergency basis, during the first lock down. Dr. Newman was wonderful - taking care of me when I broke a crown (post) 🙁 My daughter was also seen on an emergency basis (during the second lock down) for a chipped tooth. Have made Eastport Dental our dentist office. Reception, hygienists and Dr. Newman are caring, compassionate and honest!

I went here today for a consultation after a series of bad experiences at my old dental clinic being misdiagnosed and over charged for unnecessary services. Dr Newman was very professional and did not recommend any of the unnecessary services the other clinic did. I am a fan! And I don't even like going to the dentist! :D
*Update* I had my fillings done and Dr Newman also removed a metal filling I had since I was 12 that other dentists had been ignoring for years. The severe cystic acne on my chin and jawline (which had been getting worse and worse, not responding to any treatments) disappeared

I went in for tooth emergency. I was accommodated immediately, it was very quick. The pain was so unbearable, I thought I would pass out. Dr. Alex was a life saver for me. He did what exactly needed to be done without wasting a second. He did it with ease, no doubt he is very experienced, professional and kind. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who want a professional service from someone with human heart to understand client’s situation/pain. Thank you!

Dr Newman and his staff were wonderful over the last 4 months with me acquiring new caps and implants. Very reasonable rates. A very comfortable atmosphere from his front reception staff to his dental assistant and furnishings. Individual televisions were a great touch and scheduling was always spot on Thank you again got a wonderful dental process

My experience has been wonderful since finding Eastport Dental. I’ve been to many dentists and Dr. Newman has been the first of many that I’ve seen that I’ve not felt the needle. Okay so this is going to be a mixed review.
The guy does great work but he is a complete ***hole!
He kicked me out of the office and said not to come back because I had to cancel my next appointment because my son has surgery & he's special needs so I can't hire a nurse until my payday. Today when he kicked me out my mom just died and I still showed up. I won't be going back.

Dr Alex Newman was the worst dentist I have seen. The reception is not knowledgable nor do they understand what customer service really is.
I went to the office and left with more problems than I had going in.
I just got back from my new dentist office and found out the following issues left by Alex Newman:
-air bubbles left in my gum area which is now infected
- left the cavity in place when putting in a filling
- air bubbles left in tooth which are now infected
- injection point is infected which caused concern of cleanliness of tools, office and staff
- immediate pain after the numbing wore
I went to the office and left with more problems than I had going in.
