The length of time required to achieve a particular step in your case ( such as obtaining a temporary court order), or a final resolution (such as the final decision of a trial judge, or a written separation agreement) depends upon a great number of factors, such as the extent to which the parties are prepared to compromise or their determination to have a judge decide matters for them.

Although we generally believe that keeping our clients out of British Columbia's court system is the best and most efficient way to get them what they need, sometimes court is the best solution - or the only solution. This is especially true if you have an urgent problem where time is of the essence, and negotiation won't help.

I walked into Zukerman Law very broken and feeling defeated. My consultation with Shelly instantly put me at ease. She explained the law to me and what I should expect. My situation turned into a very high conflict case. I was quite dependent on Shelly at first as my feelings were constantly getting in the way. I bombarded her with emails and questions to which she always responded. The route we had to take was a complicated one and I don't think any other law group could have handled it as well as the team at Zukerman. Olivia , Shelly , Stuart and Meena were the best I could get. The end result

I am writing this post for a friend with his permission. His experience with Stuart Zukerman at Zukerman Law was horrible.
Stuart Zukerman cares about your money not about you or your children.
He takes forever to respond, he works less than part time due to health issues and he lost every court hearing.
He will purposely drag out your proceedings for as long as he can in order to make more money.
He even bragged about how he was going to buy a new surround sound stereo system with the money he got from him. Words cannot fully describe the poor experience you will have from this law firm. The

Ron Huinick from Zuckerman filed my response to court late after 3 months on the job. He strung me along and depleted the retainer in no time. he presented our offer To settle on the day of settlement conference giving opposing counsel no time to consider.

Absolutely horrible firm my girlfriend has been going through a divorce over a year now and they took$10000 from her to do absolutely nothing she’s contacting them over and over and hasn’t got a call back they’re absolutely ignoring her , she’s waiting for her settlement, I’ve sat here and watched her cry over and over again it’s so unprofessional, never will use them in a hundred years , she wants a divorce and to move on with her life , remember you guys work for your clients so treat them with respect and keep them informed

Celina is the most unethical lawyer I have ever encountered. Not only will she promise you the moon when it comes to money, but she will not be able deliver and commonly use completely unethical techniques to deliver. Be warned, and unethical lawyer only gets you in trouble not the actual lawyer do not engage Zuckerman law in anyway.

I retained Tim Star from Zukerman Law Group to assist me with getting contact time with my nephew. It was a complex case based on the fact I live in Alberta and my nephew is in BC. Tim and his staff were very prepared for and attended my trial and I was successful at trial and was able to get contact time with my nephew including contact in Edmonton. Tim was always straight up in explaining the process and the pros and cons. He handles himself very well in the courtroom. Thanks Tim!

The first day I walked into Zukerman law & met with Celina, I was afraid, dejected & felt abandoned. I am very impressed with the professionalism and team effort this firm provided me. The senior lawyer Mr.Zukerman who charges at $455 per hour, recommended that I use the services of his junior lawyers and paralegal at less than half his hourly rate for the majority of the leg work on my case saving me thousands of dollars. His junior Tim Star did a great job in preparing our court materials at a much lower cost than if Mr. Zukerman had done the drafting. I worked with Meena, who helped me with a fairly complicated divorce. Even though it ended up being uncontested, my ex was out of country. Meena was highly knowledgeable, thorough and patient. She clearly explained every step of the process and took away the stress. Moreover, she gave great advice on how to handle myself to ensure I got the results I wanted.
