Services
Helping people is the best part of my job. Viewing the patient as a whole, and not just an injury, is the fun part.

Andrew is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and has a widespread background in the treatment and rehabilitation of numerous injuries, chronic pain issues, postural dysfunctions as well as injuries that are caused from work, motor vehicle accidents, sports and a variety of other activities and pathologies.
Physiotherapy uses a variety of techniques and exercises to help your muscles and joints work to their full potential. It can help repair damage by speeding up the healing process and reducing pain and stiffness. Physiotherapists also have an important role in rehabilitation, for example, helping people who have had strokes to relearn basic movements or even regaining mobility and function after a surgical procedure.
Acupuncture can be used in isolation, or in combination with physiotherapy for certain conditions or injuries. Based on the ancient Chinese Medicine philosophy this technique stimulates, disperses and balances the flow of energy, to relieve pain and treat a variety of chronic, acute and degenerative conditions.
Manual Therapy is any "hands-on" treatment provided by a qualified physiotherapist. Treatment may include passively moving joints in specific directions and at different speeds to regain normal movement, muscle stretching, passive movements of the affected body part, or having the patient move the body part against the physiotherapist's resistance to improve muscle activation and timing.
Post Operative Treatments are a step in the right direction after surgery. Unfortunately the success of your surgery doesn't finish the moment you leave the hospital. Your surgeon will have skillfully performed a surgical procedure that is the initial step towards your successful outcome. However, you'll have to do some work in the form of exercises to optimize your results.

Pleasantly greeted. Very clean. Fast service. The receptionist noticed that my husband and I were together, and came to move 2 chairs together for us. This was very thoughtful. They don't need to do that for anyone. Just thought I'd mention that. Doctors were just as pleasant. Made you feel relaxed and that you weren't another number. I definitely would return.

I have been to great physiotherapists right across the country for rugby and skiing injuries and Alain Roque is among the best. He is a straight shooter and tells you whether you need additional treatments or can be doing stuff on your own. Puts the patient first, period. Al helped me pre and post surgery on my knee and thanks to him and Dr. Allan Liew my knee has never been better. Continuing to set personal bests! Thanks Al and Team ActiveCare!

I have always been treated promptly, respectfully and with a great plan of care. Have been to several physio places over the years. Will never go anywhere else. Stephen is top notch and a very experienced physio. He gets right to the issue at hand and treats it.

I recently had an appointment with Norm. During the appointment he mentioned that he had just returned from Alberta, an area with a high incidence COVID. I was concerned for my health since he had not self isolated upon return. I was told that my appointment fee would be reimbursed but it wasn't

I went in with near crippled shoulder and back pain. Steven dealt with the shoulder pain first in 4 weeks and gave me simple but effective home exercises.
He then dealt with the lower back pain in 3 weeks and I started walking straight again instead of bent. The simple but effective exercises were great.
I well and back to normal now. And I am 82 years old!!!
They are great on time-keeping. Not once did I have to wait.
The reception is great. Setting appointments and following them up is impressive.
Steven is also knowledgeable about international affairs which makes the conversation with

I received fantastic care from my physiotherapist Steven Carney. He was attenttive, alert to my levels of pain and how to best treat my injury. I would highly recommend him. It was a long process to get healthy again and I have Activecare to thank for my success story. I also want to thank Nicole, who is exceptional at greeting, making appointments, answering any questions I had and making me feel taken care of, her smile and wonderful demeanor were greatly appreciated

I have been a client of Jennifer at Activecare Physio for some time now. My profession requires long hours sitting at a desk interacting with a computer, and despite my best efforts, I regularly suffer from… neck, shoulder, and back pain. After seeking massage therapy from other professionals, I settled with Jennifer as my RMT provider because simply put, she is the best! Her technique for locating and working out stubborn muscle knots feels fantastic and is very relaxing. I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for relief from sore aching muscles!

Terrible experience.

I was referred to this Physio Clinic by Monfort hospital. When they called me to schedule the appointment they were extremely rude about be trying to find a time that worked for me as I am in school at the moment.

When I went in for my assessment the rest of the staff were very friendly but the receptionist was still quite rude to me whenever I asked for clarification.

I was asked to make a follow up appointment to meet with a physiotherapist, and did so promptly after I went home to look over my schedule. I then went in for my appointment and they had no record of the
