He was admitted to the Dalhousie University Faculty of Law after his undergraduate studies at Acadia University. Jonathan then moved to Ontario after graduating, where he began his law career articling in Orillia. Other career highlights include lecturing for the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, and numerous other lectures at conferences with trial judges, senior lawyers and Court of Appeal Judges.
