Services
We're delighted to be located inside Ledbury Park Elementary and Middle School and have a successful collaborative relationship with Administration, Support and Teaching staff. Established in 1985 and run by a Volunteer Parent Board of Directors. Our aim is to fulfill the Child Care needs of the community by providing the highest quality of care.
The Kindergarten program at Ledbury Park Childcare provides integrated care within the school setting before and after school. Our Registered Early Childhood Educators & Assistants work collaboratively with Teachers and Designate Early Childhood Educators to provide a cohesive and seamless day between School and Childcare.
The School Age program at Ledbury Park Childcare provides integrated care within the school setting, designed to stimulate older children in a co-operative, social setting. We offer a Junior Program for Children in grades 1 & 2 and Senior Programs for Children in grades 3- 6. Daily Activities including arts, cooking, sports and rec, team building, life skills and science.
Catered meals and snacks are provided to all children at the Child Care. Our Catering provider, Alphabet Kids, collaborates with a registered Dietitian to develop a rotational menu that changes seasonally to reflect seasonal produce and items that comfort on cooler days and to refresh and energize on warmer ones.
One full month notice is required to make any changes to enrollment or to withdraw from the program. A Child Care Fee Subsidy helps a family with the cost of licensed child care. There is a waitlist, so apply as soon as possible. You can apply for a fee subsidy as soon as you know you are pregnant or expecting a child through adoption.
