Laura has a BSW from the University of British Columbia and MSW from Dalhousie University. She has been providing counselling services since 2004, working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups, as well as presenting to professional and community audiences on a range of topics. Laura is currently only accepting adult clients.
Laura specializes in trauma therapy (including PSTD and Complex PTSD) and works with clients around a range of referral issues, including anxiety, family dynamics, stress, life transitions, grief, meaning and change, amongst other things. She embraces a non-pathologizing approach to counselling and believes in the innate capacity of every individual to heal.

Services
Laura provides professional counselling services for adult individuals. Some evening appointments are available. The fee is $160/hour payable at the end of the session. Direct billing to ASEBP and Blue Cross is available, and counselling is covered under most extended health care plans. Please check with your provider to confirm your coverage and provider credential requirements.
