We provide individual counselling, couples therapy, and family counselling sessions. We address any psychological issue with our clients in a competent and therapeutic way.
When mutally deemed necessary, we are ready to make appropriate referrals to other professional experts. We are also pleased to offer health psychology sessions for individuals facing (chronic) health issues. Our 25 years of experience has taught us that all clients and their circumstances are unique; we simply have no master-key that will fit all cases. For that reason, Woodrows Counselling & Consulting utilizes an eclectic*, multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach tailored to the specific needs of each individual client.
Born in Montreal, Keith speaks French (70%) and English. Keith has 25 years of Counselling experience as well as 5 years as a School Principal of a Comprehensive Multi-Cultural combined Elementary/High school serving a predominantly Inuit population who learned in a second language, as well a French and English first language population.
Louise also has extensive experience with First Nations and Inuit people as she not only lived and worked with Inuit in the Arctic for 10 years, but also worked for twelve years with members of the Kainai Nation on the reserve near Lethbridge.
Since graduating with her Master's of Education in Counselling degree from the University of Lethbridge in 1997, Louise's counselling experience includes working with children and adolescents as well as with First Nations and new Canadian clients.Louise's training and experience in therapy as well as her extensive inter-cultural experience and her life experience have made her both competent and comfortable in working with all clients.
