Our family Optometrists have been leading they way as eye care providers for optometry services and vision care products in Calgary since 2013, and we want to help you achieve and maintain clear vision. Crescent Heights experienced optometrists offer complete vision and eye health exams, surgical referrals and Co-Management of eye diseases.
During an eye exam Crescent Heights Optometrists evaluate many factors that can affect your vision and eye health. We review your case history, conduct an external and internal exam of your eyes, and measure vision qualities, such as eye movements and coordination, sharpness of vision and peripheral vision.
The doctors at Crescent Heights Optometry are board certified and have advanced training in the treatment and management of eye disease to the utmost standards. Ongoing continuing education combined with modern state of the art diagnostic equipment ensure we remain current on eye health issues, technological advancements and provide you with the best possible vision.
For years, more and more people have been switching to contact lenses. Contact lens technology has evolved rapidly and with today's variety of contact lenses, there are lenses for just about everyone. Switching from eyeglasses to contact lenses begins with an eye exam for contact lenses. After the contact lens exam comes a separate contact lens fitting session.
We feel it's important to mention that not all vision care products are created equally. Within the eye care industry there's a large variance in quality and craftsmanship. They sanitized all frames people try on right away, so you never have to worry about contact from other people:

Doctor and staff are amazing but take my 4 year old and wait over an hr. I even set appointment at 10am as they said it wouldn’t happen then since they open at 9am. Put drops in my daughters eyes at 1015 but then had to wait till 1115 to see doctor!Great doctor but 2hrs per appointment to finish too much. Previous one 2hrs and no drops needed. If you go here call before your appointment to see if they are running behind and atleast you can wait at home.

Middling experience overall. I went to get an eye exam and update my prescription. Booking the exam in the first place took 15 minutes on the phone. Not holding. 15 minutes on the phone (although I was put on hold three times). The staff member I was speaking to said she was new; all good, not a big deal.
Now, I'm currently in the process of getting my Alberta Health Number (still on BC coverage), but the eye exam was going to be covered by my work benefits. Although I explained this situation on the phone, I still got held up about it at my exam appt and my follow-up appointment, as if it had

They do need to get more desk help but my review is strictly about the doctor. I came in with something stuck in my eye. He has shown me the best care I think I've ever had in my lifetime. I've never had an eye.doctor be this thorough. I had to come back 4 times to recheck and monitor and each time he gave me tests and a visual.exam of my eyes. I have had exams all over the place and never felt this cared for. Thank you very much!
