We are back open to see regular patients for eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, and medical eye care. Dr. Lonsdale graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2003, but has over 25 years of experience in the eyewear industry.
He enjoys the everyday challenge and variety of being an optometrist. When not at the office, he loves spending time with his young family. He likes exercising, 3D printing things, and enjoys training a little in a few martial arts disciplines. Family members have been seeing these folks for many years. They are busy so I had to wait several days for an appointment. They were thorough and pleasant. A week later I had new glasses but there was a problem making it difficult to read, so I went back. They again were friendly, patient and thorough, and promised new glasses which I received yesterday. Today I am thrilled with the results. I can read the fine print on the pill bottle and see clearly at a distance. I highly recommend Dr. Lonsdale and his staff.

After visiting an optical a few shops down,we walked into north hill optometry. Great customer service and the glasses were way cheaper than what we were quoted for the kids on the exact same frames at the other store. We bought eye glasses for my whole family. Will be returning and telling everyone about the awesome experience.

The staff were warm and kind; however, I wasn't so sure about Dr. Lonsdale. I got the impression that my uneducated answers to his questions regarding current vision issues were obnoxious to him and/or it seemed he had better things to do.. Or perhaps he was just having a bad day.. Nonetheless, surely if he was interested in your situation, he'd be a great optometrist. I trust the solution offered by Dr. Lonsdale will help, I just wish there was a bit more discussion and detailed advice.
