When X-rays pass through your mouth during a dental exam, more X-rays are absorbed by the denser parts (such as teeth and bone) than by soft tissues (such as cheeks and gums) before striking the film or x-ray sensor (in the case of digital x-rays). This creates an image on the radiograph. Teeth appear lighter because fewer X-rays penetrate to reach the film.

I've been going here for a few years now. The staff and receptionists are very nice and professional. Even though I get nervous to let the dentist play with tools in my mouth, my hygienist Anna does a great job reassuring me, doing all necessary checks and getting my teeth properly cleaned. Dr. Ramesh is also doing a great job with my orthodontic treatment.
Amist the pandemic, they are doing a great job keeping the place clean and safe for everyone.

Smileton Dental Care is an easy to locate dental clinic with all modern
equipments and facilities. I would personally recommend Dr. Rekha Nair for any dental related problems and treatments. I had been to other clinics but had a very bad experience. Dentists in other clinics are keen interested in your Insurance rather than your actual problem, so that they can bill more.
But in Smileton I can feel the difference. Dr Rekha properly diagnosed the problem and prescribed me what needs to be done and whats not.
The dentists are very accommodating and gentle when throughout the process which is great

I was having intense shooting pain in my teeth and everyone at Smileton was really great and accommodating. They took me in the same day. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist and the reception women were so lovely and answered all our questions. The dentist was so gentle and gave me a lot of helpful medical advice. I was scared of dentists until I was recommended to Dr Rekha Subudhi. Her calm, patient and gentle personality is reflected in her work approach. The office has been very prompt with my family in all services. Multiple followups/reminders helps me keep up with my appointments. Very professional and competent team. Highly recommend this practice.
I had to wait for a bit longer once, but I guess that can happen. I am more concerned with quality care, which I get here.

Very organized team and they do a great job reminding for my family's appointments using emails & sms. I hate calls. had a root canal done sometime back, was done very well, was smooth. Dr Rekha Subudhi is great, hygienists are well trained and gentle/patient with my kids too. They do Oral Cancer screening every visit, I am glad they are thorough. Highly recommend others.
