I earned my Law Degree at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to law school, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Toronto. I came to Canada as a young girl from Lithuania. I grew up in the Kingsway (Toronto, Canada) and attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts high school, specializing in visual art.

After the death of my mother we had to file for a certificate of appointment of estate and enlisted the help of Portfolio. Birute went the extra mile during the height of the pandemic to have a masked porch visit at our home and walk us through the entire process, answering all of our questions. The process was fast and easy, which was a great change from the previous lawyer we had been working with. We didn't feel the need to follow up because she took care of everything and pre-emptively walked us through all next steps.
